  • Landing in Naples I was confronted by this vision of a blend of classical hillside with majestic buildings on top and the contrast of high density apartments and buildings, which are made up of little graphic squares upon graphic squares and plain concrete with minimal window frames. This just caught my eye – and I was fascinated with this mixture of styles just sitting there in the one place!

  • This has been floating around my room for absolutely ages now, but ive only just had the time to actually sit down and finish it. It was half coloured in, but because it had been like that for ages it just didnt seem right to colour the rest, so i got out a brush and streaked it with water. The flowers are took off google images. I’ll let you figure out the symbolism in it :) —-—-—-—-—-—-—— / Thank You For Viewing / Original By Emma Black / Do Not Use Without Permission

  • I HOPE THAT THIS GROUP OF WORK HAS AN AFFECT ON ANYONE THAT HAS LOST ANYONE LOVED. ON OCTOBER 4, MY BROTHER DAVID ALEN, WAS FOUND DEAD IN HIS APARTMENT. DAVID WAS 45 YEARS YOUNG, AND HAD FOUGHT AIDS FOR 19 YEARS. DAVID WAS BEAUTIFUL, BRILLIANT, ACADEMIC AND MOST OF ALL SO VERY HUMAN. DAVID WAS GAY. WHY DOES THIS EVEN NEED TO BE MENTIONED. MY PHOTOGRAPHS AND WORDS, I CAN ONLY HOPE WILL TRY TO EXPLAIN. IT IS 2007, I BELIEVE, ISN’T IT. KNOW THIS MY BROTHER WAS LOVED, AND ALWAYS WILL BE. DAVID WAS GAY. THIS IS ALL ABOUT HUMANITY, AND WHERE CAN IT BE FOUND. cannon5D / 28-105 / 1250 iso / no flash / -1 ex

  • This is Thornseat Lodge, a derelict house in Derbyshire, originally a Gamekeepers house, then in 1934 was turned into an orphange and was stopped being used in the late 80’s, now it is just falling apart, such a waste

  • An old abandoned Farm house in Yorkshire, a place called Crow edge, not much left now, The person i went with today told me she used to play in here when she was a child, it was empty then!! such a shame, this really was a beautiful house, more pics to follow soon of the outside.

  • House is on top of a hill in Swan Valley Idaho… Art is interpreted differently as everything is interpreted differently thru a persons eyes. Some might see this as a great house with alot af deapth an A+ picture taking location. Others might connect with it on a deeper more emotional level. They may view themselves as an empty house sitting alone on top of a hill in the middle of nowhere. This might be what some strive for…isolation and silence. Whatever stirs that spark of magic that is still deep down that hasent yet been combed out, spanked out or washed out as you grew to who you are today..Take that magic and run with it!!!!

  • THIS WAS TAKEN ON THE ROOF TOP OF MY APARTMENT BUILDING IN CHICAGO. IT HAD BEEN RAINING EARLIER IN THE DAY AND THE ROOF COVERING HAS SLIGHT UNDULATING SURFACE WHICH REFLECTED THE SUN IN THE PUDDLES. I JUST LOVE HOW IT APPEARS TO BE A BODY OF WATER AT THE TOP OF A BUILDING YET IS JUST A PUDDLE. /

  • On the beach in South Carolina, vacationers and tourists walk along the beach totally unaware of the impending storm. This photo was taken in September 2005 as Hurricane Katrina was hitting the shores of Louisiana Canon Rebel XT

  • 2007, Oil on Canvas, 9” x 12” Anyone in a long-distance relationship can relate to this painting. Lucky are the ones who have only a fence between them – more often it’s worlds instead.

  • After spending the day with some fellow Keystone State group members at Rickett’s Glen, we looked for “The House on the Left” on the way home. This old abandoned place is on Route 487, a rural road near Benton, PA. Taken 10/26/09 I combined two layers – one clear and one out of focus and an airbrush eraser to create this image.
