these days circled round his head like butterflies / with no desire to make sense of this elusive logic / the performance of the moonlight is what he gazed upon / it shun down upon his pool of unopened dreams / and there she was she said, I know what you say / those words when they stumble / I feel what you feel / like the same breath inside them / this river holds their dreams so this is how it’s meant to feel, an overflowing cup / his eyes were lost and tense as the mountains grew above / she said follow our river beneath this moon that wont forget / with ripples that speak of rhythm and escape the tremors / and water remains calm she said, I know what you say / those words when they stumble / I feel what you feel / like the same breath inside them / this river holds their dreams he spoke of time versus consequence and was ok with wondering / never could imagine his relief as she understood what rarely could / a routine that reflected the past, a thousand dreams no longer need / now his drifting in the night, she lay beside eyes open wide / and said always me -me

This the famous Marsden bay in South Shields, with the stack amid the rubble of the remains of the lost arch and adjoining smaller stack, while another smaller stack stands closer to the cliffs further along the shore line. The title is a reference to the shoreline used in King Kong film. Converted into black and white with a film look.

Alone, she prays for her chance to escape, he’s had her held here for what seems like months..she keeps going back to that day she was snatched from her world, it was a beautiful day, she took that short walk through the woods to the little lake that she has come to since she was a little girl, not knowing the evil that was lurking and watching, and now she’s here, held against her will..his prisoner.. she lays down on the dirt floor, closes her eyes and escapes to her dreams..the dreams of being Anywhere BUT here. Nikon D90 / 18-200 mm VR Lens I do believe this is actually farmers quarters, there were 3 of these houses right next to each other.

The Snack Boys, Twinkie, HoHo, and DingDong have full bellies and sleep soundly. At two weeks, these orphaned baby squirrels just eat and sleep. They grew up to go wild in the woods.
