  • A deer with unusual antlers. This poor buck must have been grazing near a hammock and as he got closer to the hammock, something must have startled him and he brought his head up underneath the hammock and caught it in his antlers. He couldn’t dislodge it, so he took it with him and now he is wearing it as a decoration. It’s a good thing that antlers are shed or he would still be carrying it around!

  • This gorgeous White Tail Deer is taking a chance that the only thing in my hand is a camera. Deer season opened last week and this is an easy and wanted shot for me or a hunter. It’s very rare to get this close, at this time of year, but this young buck was very curious.

  • The mule deer congregate in our area for the rut as we are on a sparsely populated butte. The afternoon light provides a rich frame to set off their stunning strength and beauty, and the fading fall colors provide a soft counterpoint. • Moose calves are born with their eyes open, if they live through their first month, it’s most likely they will survive to become an adult. Moose are herbivores and they are the largest antlered animals of all ~ with the males only growing them (rarely a female with hormone imbalances will grow them as well). The moose has no enemies except the grizzly bear and humans. / Moose medicine invites you to explore new depths of awareness and sensitivity within yourself and within your environment. Photograph taken in an undisclosed place in Alaska (as is) by my brother, who wishes to remain anonymous.

  • Most of the year the calves live with their mothers away from the bulls; in the late fall the calves encounter the bulls when the rut is on. What could the calf be thinking in this image…”Wow, will I grow up to look like you”? They must experience a tug of war; they want to stay near their mothers, but this huge bull is moving into their lives. In the end, the calves watch the bulls warily and try to stay out of their way. Canon 40D, f5.6, 1/160, focal length 250mm. Grand Teton National Park. • I always wanted a “classic” kind of Elk shot, where one can see the steam coming out of their nose and mouth after the Bugle, with snow falling and such, and I think I finally was able to get it ! He gave us a lot of good shots, I will say that! Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado Minolta 5D & Tamron 200-400mm lens

  • Pencil drawing on brown paper, coloured digitally I’ve been out looking for Christmas cards and not finding much out there that I liked, I made this little card in a vintage style, for all the girls that love vintage stuff and wanna give their girlfriends Vintage Christmas Wishes just tried to make something I’d like to give my friends really and the face and hair are a lot like me (although my eye colour is brown) This design also comes without the text, please let me know if you’d prefer that option.

  • This idea started as a doodle on a friend’s arm at a party. I thought it would look cool if i drew it properly, and so i went about doing just that. Stylistically influenced by Melbourne street artists. Enjoy. / (Pssst! It also looks good on dark coloured shirts, see ^^)
