  • Another pot from my dad’s collection. Photographed and the given a treatment. Most of his pots were dug up around the goldfields in Victoria and some are 100s of years old, bought out to Australia by Chinese immigrants in the mid-19th century. I don’t know the history of this one…but I love the colours.

  • This image was taken at a friends home, same place that some of you may remember from “Silent Night” or “Sound of Silence”. She has a great art and antique collection, her home just screams to be photographed, (she painted the painting over the fireplace). I tried a little something new with long exposures and LOVE the ghost like silhouettes. You have to view this in large format to see them!!! And there are no ducks in this shot! My art with 1000+ views Click here to see one of my favorite images of her Steinway Piano: /

  • Old keys gathered and strung, placed on an old wooden plant stand

  • This old rusty Farmall Tractor has seen better days, it’s not farming much at all these days. Found near Washingtonville, PA on a Covered Bridge Photo Shoot with my folks from Germany (we found six of them that day).

  • An old boat sitting safely on the shore at Queenscliff in Victoria, Australia. Kept finding myself going back to this boat to take photos, looked so sad sitting by itself. Black and White conversion in Lightroom, HDR in Photomatix.

  • Original Creation Date: May 5th, 2006 Meaning ‘antiquity’, I wanted this portrait to portray a sense of timelessness, yet also capture a somewhat haunting quality that I always find myself associating with the mid 1600’s. Charcoal on 90 lb paper, 16” x 20”, freehand. / Model: Tessa Beebe Original Sold: Victoria, BC Canada

  • Oklahoma City has had snow now for two days. Our pasture was pristine and white and still. I went out in it to recreate a classic snow scene, as people here have endured for generations. But then, the crunchy sounds under foot, the soft snow -I could not resits a little dash through the snow! Yes – I froze – it was 18 degrees! My camera became so cold, it froze as well! BUT it was FUN! This photos is straight from the camera, as is, like all of my work.

  • / A long, long time ago somebody here at Redbubble asked me if I would shoot a still life with a Teddy bear. Of course I couldn’t say no to such a fine and kind lady. She did, however, have to develop a great deal of patience. :) Here we are, a couple of months after the request. This rather low key still life is part of my Nostalgia series. As usually created using my painted with light technique , my trusty Pentax K10D, and my even more trusty (and a lot older) Pentax-A 50mm 1:1.7 lens. more work / the calendar / Looks great as card /
