  • Even though the original 1937 Ford was a breakthrough design, with headlights streamlined into the fenders for the first time and the famed flathead V-8 giving ample performance by the standards of the day, initial sales were disappointing. Only later was it to become a favorite of generations of hot rodders and customizers. However, the first ones to tweak the ‘37 kept the bodywork bone-stock, because their livelihood depended on stealth and speed-–and room for a load of moonshine!

  • Citroen 2CV taken in Ribe, Denmark. A little digital editing here, would love to hear your thoughts on this one. My art with 1000+ views

  • First of all, big kudos go to fellow bubbler Kevin Kroeker, who gave me a great idea of some add’l post processing steps which I had not tried before, until this image. HDR Image of an antique shiny black car with tons of chrome. I don’t know why, but I absolutely love this image. Hope you do as well. My art with 1000+ views

  • When cars where still cars ….. not just a mere mode of transport. HDR image of this Plymouth Cockpit. Love the little levers for Throttle and HeadLight. My art with 1000+ views

  • the arizona desert can be a harsh place to drive, especially 50 years ago…radiators would overheat, tires would swell and go flat and the lack of air conditioning would test the endurance of the most hardy…then, after almost 1800 miles, there were the mountains…route 66 reached the mountains in western arizona…here the going got even worse…switch backs up and over and down would put a worthy vehicle to the test…there at the base was cool springs, the last oasis before heading up and over…here you could get fresh water, a cool drink and have the car looked over before the grueling climb toward california…pictured here was the alternative…for those unable to make it, their only hope was to be towed back to the start and get patched up for another try…

  • I’ll keep on driving so we can talk a while / I know I could drive all night just to stay here with you / At the end of the night we’ll embrace and stare at the star filled night / Would it be alright if we didnt say goodbye this time? I’ll wait and wonder when our next time will be / I’ll see you next week, hopefully / I wish it were sooner / At the end of my trip we’ll embrace and stare at the star filled night / Would it be alright if we didn’t say goodbye this time? Every time we’re away I feel a distance I can’t take / Watching you drive away, oh it kills me I’ll be alright / Have no worries / I’m just a bit over anxious / And maybe a little impatient / At the end of the night next time after we look at the star filled night / Can we escape to a far away land where we will forever remain.. / Living as one and walking hand in hand

  • Captured this beauty at a local park, where the Antique Automobile Club of America was having a meeting. Talk about a photographers’ dream ….. • This is the Chrome grill from the auto in this series called Pinkie from my show called OldBoyToys a look at the autos of a collector. As you can see the grill back in the 1930 to 1970s were a work of art in its self often the reason a person would by a car was to have this grill as a symbol of who they were! It was quite striking to see something as bright and as bold come at you in the night blazing with full headlights reflecting off of its front bumper!

  • Another full view of Whitey sitting in a yard in Germany.

  • Brilliant classic and personal photograph of one of my favourite subjects, classic cars.

  • Back in the days, this is what a parking lot might have looked like. I loved how these antique cars were all lined up, but wished the light colored Cadillac was not in the same row. Oh well.

  • An antique 1952 Chevy Deluxe. Note that this design is half-toned white on shirt color. View larger to see detail. (To the best I can determine this is a ‘52 Chevy Deluxe. If you can confirm or refute this, please leave a comment.) Also available: ‘52 Chevy Deluxe 2-Color

  • Hey! When the ol’ truck breaks down …...... why not use it as a garden?? THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR VIEWS FRIENDS….....xx

  • Captured this antique Ford being serviced in Williams, Arizona. Eddie’s Tires is located right on historic Route 66. / I like seeing old cars still in their pre-restored state, and this one was a beauty! Almost felt you were driving down Rt.66 in it’s hayday, and this would have been a common sight. / This is an HDR image, then applied the dodge & burn technique which I just learnt about and just had to try.

  • Sometime ago I found a few of these classic cars near the side of the road and recently I finally was in the area again, to get a few more shots. This is an HDR image.

  • This wonderful 1935–1937 Morris Eight, vintage car was parked near Fingle Bridge, Devon, today. I couldn’t resist taking some shots of it! I love the reflection of the dropped leaves in the paint work on the door. Nikon D40 18-55mm I chose this image, which I desaturated a bit and added a texture to, to try and keep the feel in time with the car….. Did I make the right choice? / I have also added this below in full colour and B&W which do you think is the better image?
