  • This giraffe peeked through the shadows at me and seemed to be making a statement. He reminded me of my grandson who does much the same thing almost every time I try to take his picture.

  • When I saw this bull in a kneeling position, eating grass on the opposite side of the fence, I turned the car around and stopped to take its photo. I thought it was a classic photo to illustrate the old cliche, “The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence.”

  • acrylic naive style painting of a secondhand junk shop

  • This red squirrel or fox squirrel was sprawled out on a branch on a lazy Sunday afternoon just chillin’ and watching the passersby. He wasn’t in the least bit skittish at my approach.

  • American goldfinch on a weathervane. I have a HUGE flock of these lovely little migratory birds residing with me for the winter.

  • Squirrels are quite wary and easily spooked. This one approached cautiously and then when he sensed my presence, he looked straight in my direction and took off like a bullet. His sideways glance reminds me of a prisoner’s mug shot.

  • See the wall art comments to see what a character this guy is. I missed his family and rookery when they went South last Fall because they were so entertaining! It’s all there, what this rotten bird did to entertain himself and us last summer! / / Any profits from the sale of this tee shirt, or its companion wall art is donated to the relief of Australia’s wildlife devestated by the bush fires of Victioria, 2009
