Well, technically, Wax is an Animagus. He can turn into any animal as long as he has contact with its skin, feather, or fur, etc. That’s why he wears fur lined underwear. Patchwork fur made from hare, wolf, and rat. With some eagle and hummingbird feathers sewn in for variety. And there’s no stronger hair to sew it all up with than that from a unicorn’s mane (now extinct, of course). Wax is very very old, and the reason Celadore is now a monster hunter. But that’s a story for another day. For now, here’s a story for this day… In all its pencil glory once again.

Welcome to the fourth installment of a series of three panel strips I’ve aptly titled “Bubbleworld!” This weeks edition is a wee bit late, but hopefully you’ll think it’s so incredibly funny that all will be forgiven. (Hopefully, but not very likely). The goal with the “Bubbleworld” is to showcase the work of some of the people I’ve met during my first three or four months on the site, and to show my appreciation of them, and admiration for their work in the only way I know how… By poking fun at them. (Because complimenting people is so darn awkward.) On the chopping block this week is the unstoppable force of nature that is PINKYJAIN. Not only is Pinky the very first person to ever add me to her watchlist her on Redbubble, but she’s a heck of a talented artist to boot. The thing I love most about Pinky’s work is the unpredictability of it. (Despite the fact that my strip focuses on one specific thing…go figure.) (For a larger image click the picture) Take a moment out of your day and take a browse through Pinky’s portfolio. I really dig the vampire series myself. Here are just a few examples of her work that I used as a direct inspiration for the above piece. (Click for a larger image) Volume 5 may or may not be coming next week as I’ve got a lot on my plate at the moment, but if I can’t get one up next week there will be one the week after. Steve!

These images were taken merely ten minutes ago, as i was outside barbquing dinner. A you can see in the one shot he is on the same white table that he was on in the image Peanut Thief. These are the original images They have not been altered in any fashion. This guy comes and visits us twice daily. He will often sit up on the wire you can see in the one photo and call to us asking for his peanuts. He will then sit and wait until we set them out and move about a foot away and then will swoop in and land on the table with us watching and take his pick of peanuts. This first shot show’s him sitting in the tree watching me and appraising the peanuts / This second shot shows him on the white table ( same table and same bird as in Peanut Thief This next shot shows him in flight just leaving the table and heading for the fir tree that sits near the table. This last shot shows him taking off from the wire, heading out to his nest after hiding his latest peanut This is the same bird as in peanut Thief. I will post these images to my profile at a later date These images were taken at approximately 7:00 pm July 27,08

Hi! Was delighted to find out that “Lofty Ideals” received the “Today’s Best Award” , thanks to Zazzle :D And yes, I do draw other animals other than just the owls :D Many of you may not have seen this work as this was one of the first few that I uploaded here in RB. So I thought this is a good opportunity for the rest of you to know her better….a piece that’s close to my heart and maybe you can also identify with this painting. This pink sheep’s name is Knitto Pinko :D In this pic, she feels that she is unique and set apart for bigger things, not just another sheep under the shepherd’s shears….not just another digit on the farm….she faced a big dilemma…should she stay or should she leave? / You can view more of “Lofty Ideals” at my Zazzle Gallery. Part 2 of the story: Knitto Pinko submitted her resignation as head knitter to Farmer O’MacDonald a year ago. She decided that she no longer wanted to knit designs that she was in the least passionate about. Her dream was to have her own shop of knitwear, designed by her with 100% wool.Knowing her dream extended beyond the boundaries of this farm which she had grown so familiar with, she took on the challenges that awaited her outside nevertheless. There was no turning back since. She’s now busy with her knit creations which she fondly calls them “Knitties Gritties”. Hope you like the story :D

I would like to thank the admin for allowing us on the wildlife-appeal for having this group so quickly. / There are so many people who do want to help the wildlife in the best way they can. / In my humble opinion the wildlife have lost the most in the inferno that swept across Victoria and the surrounding areas. / As the photos come out, you can see them trying to run from something they just couldnt escape. They are burnt, feet singed, hair on their bodies smoldering. Not knowing where they can escape to. / It breaks my heart the wildlife have lost everything familiar to them. / I know there was a massive human loss in this as well. But the humans have a chance to rebuild and re-establish their lives. / The wildlife dont. / So anyone who would like to donate their work for someone to buy and still keep it on their account. The group will allow you to do this without having to send a file. / It is greatly appreciated by the wildlife-appeal for ALL that have sent the files directly to us to upload on the account. Your help, your sympathy and your unselfishness will last a lifetime in my heart. / So for anyone wanting to help God’s creatures that survived this massive tradgey, please look up the Wildlife-Appeal group. / Thanks to everyone that has helped with this cause on uploading, responding to bmails, and donating their work. Thanks to those who have started us off on sales!! / We have had a few sales, hopefully more to come in the very near future!!

Yes I’m still alive. Well, I think I’m still alive anyway. A tall goat like creature with a name which resembles that of a quality silk like fabric keeps poking me in the back with some sort of gardening fork. Getting very hot in here too….. / hmmm. So anyway, I’m currently working on a very ambitious project which involves bringing my artwork to life through various animation techniques, something I’m really developing on my own as I go since there is no status quo for this kind of project. I’ve kept the project very quiet so far but my initial experiments have been very promising so I can openly talk about parts of it now and I’m hoping to have a sneak peek or an example up some time soon as well. But more recently, I’ve been featured and interviewed in issue 20 of NewWebPick magazine which I’m very excited about since the publication has a readership of over 3 million people. It’s brought some great exposure towards my work which I’m very grateful for. / I’m also collaborating on a very interesting book design with US author Jasper Faolan, and have been approached by 3 separate bands about some artwork and album covers. / So yes, I’m keeping busy and, holy cr@p I go back to Uni next week and I’ll be completing my degree in 13 weeks time! ahhhhhhh! Then honors!!! hmmm stop poking me!!! Peace & love – Cameron

  • Don't forget about the babies of the bush!

calling loving fellow Red Bubble Friends Hi guys, we all know a lot of people have been suffering and children and such due to the poor life in Africa and Fires in Australia. But what of the other children, The animals. You know, they have been suffering too and need help as well. Here at Red Bubble there is one group that collects for this cause. Wildlife-Appeal Group of photographers and artists that are dedicating their work and their time to help raise money for the Wildlife Rescue and Protection Agency Now I for one don’t do too much donation, i am always fearful of it. BUT I have been doing it with this group and a few others. And I found it to not be fearful or hard to do. You still own the rights to your works of donation, and you still can sell your own works. What I did was send full file to the ones in charge and give them “duel rights”. My term meaning, they can sell my works on their site and keep all the money for the animals and I can sell that art on my site and keep what I sell. It is that easy. So don’t be afraid my friends, this kind of act will bring you such JOY and also RESPECT in the art world as an artist, a real artist. So if you are so moved, join the group and make a donation to the babies of the earth, put your art to GOOD USE. LINK:Wildlife Appeal Patricia Anne
