Meet Mo. He is a little squirrel who loves the quiet of the darkness. He loves making wishes and shooting them into the sky towards the twinkling stars! Will his wishes all come true? This is a print of an original illustration that I did with ink and digitally colored. Mo and Teeny are two little squirrels that live in my head….they had to come out eventually! My ode to the shapeshifter in fairytales, in particular the deer girl Sadbh, from Irish mythology. ..the leaves are falling away, sodden and bruised. as winter beckons i loose myself in books..

My art is based on everything I see around me. This is from the idea that eyes are the windows of the soul. A2 on cartridge papar with a G-Tec C4 0.4 pen. Can be viewed any way up it is up to you.

Hand drawn A2 image on cartridge paper with a G-Tec C4 0.4 pen probably took about a year to do, but I don’t pay attention to the time or the drawing until it is nearly complete. Just been looking to buy some more pens and found out the drawn line is only 0.2mm! Featured in Works on Paper winner of the Patterns challenge in Finks in Ink

This is a really quick charcoal sketch I did a few years ago that I pulled out while digging through some old work. Maybe it’s not the single greatest thing I’ve ever done, but I do think that the concept is interesting. Maybe? Maybe not? I dunno. Some of the sloppiness can be forgiven though, since this was really more of a sketch than anything. No? Maybe? Please? Leave me alone…I’m tired.

my entry for the Social Conscience challenge attempts to highlight a few small issues that really bother me. these are poverty, greed, war, injustice, celebrity worship and the general apathy to the whole situation. I struggled to come up with a design strong enough to match it`s worldly theme, that would still look good on a shirt. I had fun with this one. enjoy.
