“THANK YOU” AnitaInverarity, for buying a print!! This is a colored pencil drawing that I created. The ink border is drawn free hand by me and then filled in with archival ink. The border and drawing: all on the same sheet, My borders are not separate from the drawings. This is a mixed media piece. I used prismacolor pencils and archival ink for the border. I used Strathmore, Vellum Bristol, 100# paper. / The total image size is 6.5” wide x 16.5” tall. I love to use vellum bristol for colored pencil work and smooth bristol for pen work. This drawing is mixed and totally on the vellum bristol paper. Any proceeds from the sale of this work on RB will be donated to The Philadelphia Mission. http://www.philadelphia33.org/
A boy and a bird, both singing their song to each other. I have tried this, whistling back to the birds I hear, but they never respond. =P Just a simple little thing I did, kind of a different style but I like it. Was fun to do. =D / Used sepia ink for the characters and border, then added a texture and the music notes in the background with Photoshop. Hope you like it! =3

BABY BULL GETS FAMOUS!!! GRIFFITH REVIEW!! CLICK TO LEARN MORE / Sales of this Design? – 3 sales so far :) / / / “Moo Cow Sunrise Family”: by Karin Taylor is another digital design based on Baby Bull Production (click here to see more) / Baby Bull Production is something I created not that long ago. It’s a mixed media piece on canvas textured paper…...i did it in response to the chilled out cows at Mullumbimby, northern New South Wales, who seem to be very laid back, i suspect they are indulging in the ‘other’ kind of grass also….... they have this real chilled look about them, and I’ve never seen cows anywhere else that have this way about them. I put it in the Casino Art Exhibition and it was the only painting that sold, every year a male school teacher goes to that show, or so the legend goes…....and purchases a piece…...it was my lucky year. Tonight I was asked if I’d ever sold a painting in a gallery…well, yes, and at exhibitions and privately. To date I believe I have sold between 30 and 40 original paintings, which I am very proud of…..in the early days 2002 I was very prolific, things have slowed down a bit with my painting now, because i am much more deliberate and take a lot of time to imbue my paintings with layers and love and depth…..it is just how i have grown as an artist, it is nice to report that there is growth along the journey…(and sales lol)!!! Somebody also has a print of these cows and loves them very much from what I understand lol

(Detail) / Ink drawing on Fabriano Rosapina paper (285gsm), original size 28×28cm. All areas of black have been cross-hatched. This image is a preview of the work for a new solo exhibition I am planning called Familiars.
Hand drawn A2 image on cartridge paper with a G-Tec C4 0.4 pen probably took about a year to do, but I don’t pay attention to the time or the drawing until it is nearly complete. Just been looking to buy some more pens and found out the drawn line is only 0.2mm! Featured in Works on Paper winner of the Patterns challenge in Finks in Ink

Aristotle once said the elephant was “the beast which passeth all others in wit and mind”. Unfortunately, they are now increasingly threatened by poaching and human intrusion into their habitat. The original artwork measures 19×12.5 inches and was created with ink pen and liquid copper leaf, with a little bit of colored pencil work around the eye. I used acid-free Canson Mi-Teintes paper in an Oyster color. View more of my artwork at www.lynnetteshelley.com
