These cubs were around 19 months old and still very playful. We were very lucky with our bear sightings in the Arctic which allowed us to get some nice close-up shots. Sales of this TShirt ? – 1 sale so far :) / Baby Bull Production TShirt by Karin Taylor Baby Bull Production is something I created not that long ago. It’s a mixed media piece on canvas textured paper…...i did it in response to the chilled out cows at Mullumbimby, northern New South Wales, who seem to be very laid back, i suspect they are indulging in the ‘other’ kind of grass also….... they have this real chilled look about them, and I’ve never seen cows anywhere else that have this way about them. I put it in the Casino Art Exhibition and it was the only painting that sold, every year a male school teacher goes to that show, or so the legend goes…....and purchases a piece…...it was my lucky year. Tonight I was asked if I’d ever sold a painting in a gallery…well, yes, and at exhibitions and privately. To date I believe I have sold between 30 and 40 original paintings, which I am very proud of…..in the early days 2002 I was very prolific, things have slowed down a bit with my painting now, because i am much more deliberate and take a lot of time to imbue my paintings with layers and love and depth…..it is just how i have grown as an artist, it is nice to report that there is growth along the journey…(and sales lol)!!! Somebody also has a print of these cows and loves them very much from what I understand lol

Acrylic On Canvas Concept: Ophelia having some solitude, she’s meditating on what love is all about…love between lovers, between friends, between parents and children, between teacher and students, between owners and their pets and etc….the greatest love is when one is willing to lay down his/her life(others-seeking and not self-seeking) for another person whom he/she loves. While painting this, it also reminds me of a famous chinese love tale, “The Butterfly Lovers”....thus a pair of butterflies. It is a tragic tale about how a couple could only find their love bliss after they pass on and both became butterflies.I’m contented to have found my bliss :D View my other “Love Meditations” creations at my Zazzle store:

This is how my first serious painting looks like and I chose to paint an owl. That was like 6 years ago I think :D Very few had seen this. When I was painting this, I was thinking “If I were an owl, I would be able to hear the sweet whispers of lovers in the park.”...yep, in case you are wondering, those are sound waves, owls have such fantastic hearing that’s simply amazing!! I always treasure the beginner’s spirit and I kept reminding myself not to lose it….because once you become used to something, it loses that magic, It is now nicely framed and hanging in the most intimate part of my apartment. Acrylic On Canvas Ophelia,Phoebe and Mel having fun on the elephant’s back….and elephant was pleased to have their company as well! :D This was painted in May’08 and I remembered I had a yearning to want to visit Chiang Mai, Northern Thailand :D..so that was why I painted these 3 friends having an outing with the elephant….because there are many elephant reserves there in Chiang Mai, where they protect these precious animals from harm.
