Cute Kitty says HELLO!
Don’t worry, the little mouse is safe… WHY?... It’s obvious, isn’t it?...or havn’t they made up their minds yet? It’s all in the eye of the beholder. Enjoy.
I swear she was smiling..:) /
While tootling round the San Rafeal Lagoon in a Zodiac, our intrepid tour party were all lucky enough to see this seal sunbathing on an iceberg. Once back on the Catamaran, I was fortunate enough to get near enough with a long lens to snap his portrait. He appears to be smiling in welcome! We were all cooing and ahhing over this wonderful chance encounter. Little did I know at the time (or any of the others for that matter) that the endearing smile was because his mouth is full of razor sharp teeth – because he’s a LEOPARD SEAL!!! Eek! Northern Patagonia, Chile.
Just a bit of fun. I thought this Rhea would look cute on a tee, so here is the photo version! ;o)

Photograph made in Artis – Amsterdam Zoo / Shot through glass for the children / Look, here is Tanja. She’s a Happy Hippo … she’s taking a bath! / Oh, yes, Tanja loves playing in the water. Especially when the sun is shining. Then she raises her head, and closes her eyes, and has this big, happy smile… / Aaah, thinks Tanja, ... Life is good ! for the adults / Yes, here she is… Hippo Tanja, 48 years old. She has spent most of her life in this small square outside basin, or the inside animal shelter at the Amsterdam Zoo. How much better off (it seems to me) are her kins living in the vast marsh lands of Lake Victoria (Kenya) for example… But although she has to put up with a lot of glass and concrete, instead of the reddish African clay, this lady knows how to enjoy life! Happy with each little ray of the bleak European sun, she just raises her head up to it and… smiles… :D Photograph made with Pentax K10D camera. Comments and feed-back always welcome. Thanks for looking :) ___ / Singing in the bathtub —-

Bighorn Ewe in Estes Park, Colorado. My friend Shiloh and I came upon 21 of them in a herd the other day at the outskirts of town….watching them was so entertaining….and those faces!!! They gaze right into your eyes with this oh-so-serious look and you can just feel that smile about to break forth…. Smile
100% of proceeds received from Redbubble in respect to sales of this item, will be donated to Bush Heritage Australia Photo of a large freshwater crocodile (Crocdylus Johnstoni) taken while slowly drifting through Cobbold Gorge in far north Queensland, Australia. These crocs are not considered overly dangerous, unlike the saltwater croc that will, if given half a chance, have you for dinner. You still need to be alert as they can give you quite a mauling. / As the freshwater croc lives on frogs, fish and shrimp you should not drag a finger through the water if in a small boat, as they are capable of performing a swift, painful amputation of the offending finger. Cheers
