He sits proudly / Look at him sitting there on his high Ass. His silly hat and coat that barely covers his own ass. He enjoys his prize, and we all don’t.
While we have largely banned animals from our circuses, who knows what happens of other worlds. And how big would their arenas have to be, let alone their food bill? Acrylic. and sawdust.
Meet our African Pygmy hedghog, Daisy Mae. She’s sweet and tiny and very spoiled.

Half a horse… in Berlin Spandau (Germany)...
So I was catching up on my Bleach the other day… And, well, sometimes they use english phrases that don’t always sound particularly correct OR just sound kind of awkward…. SO… While watching an episode I noticed Ichigo was wearing a t-shirt that said this :P I thought it was awesome. It’s super simple, considering that it’s pretty much all text (save the little star at the bottom right), but that’s ok now and then, yeah?

views: 511 / favs: 16 Image straight from the camera. Taken on January 11, 2009 with an Olympus FE-340 It was the first day of the year that the weather in London was beautiful so I spent the day outdoor walking through the parks, and the squirrels are very friendly. This particular shot was in Green Park. While I was trying to set-up my camera to take a photo, this little guy suddenly climbed up my leg! (I missed the opportunity to take its picture while it was there) I looked down at it, and it looks to the side as though saying “I didn’t do anything…” (see image in first comment), then it runs behind me and tries to climb up my knapsack; then runs in front me, spirals up the pole and pokes its head to the side going “Peek-a-boo!” After it climbed down I brought my hand out. It grabbed my finger for a little while, but took off before I could get a picture then :-( ... But atleast I captured the funny Peek-a-boo moment! The light and dark areas in the eye may look like the iris and the sclera of the eye, but that is actually caused by reflections; The dark bit at the bottom left corner of the eye is a reflection of myself with the camera: / / / Also available at Zazzle / /

Our boy Noodle wearing his new custom made hoodie. / Photography by me.
Photograph taken with Sony Cybershot early this morning – 20 May 2009. Other than cropping for redbubble the picture is as ‘real’ as it gets, ‘untouched’ and ‘as is’. The metal man had arrived and was reinforcing Alkatraz aka ‘The Den’ as my pooches have become little Houdini’s amongst other things. The sound of the drill scared them and they came to me for protection – being the evil mother that I am I left them sitting and tried to catch the moment. To get all six in one place and not chewing, fighting, digging or eating was simply beautiful. The title is inspired by a Nusrery Rhyme that my Nannan used to ‘play’ with me ….it fits perfectly … There were six in a bed / And the little one said / “Roll over, roll over” / So they all rolled over / And one fell out There were five in a bed…. / Lyrics courtesy The Teachers Guide ACRYLIC ART CALENDARS CARDS POETRY PHOTOGRAPHY – ANIMALS PHOTOGRAPHY -CANDID SHOTS PHOTOGRAPHY – CATS AND DOGS / CATS / DOGS PHOTOGRAPHY – CONTEMPORARY WORK PHOTOGRAPHY – FLOWERS PHOTOGRAPHY – INSECTS PHOTOGRAPHY – TRADITIONALLY TURKISH PHOTOGRAPHY – TREE AND TREE PARTS T-SHİRTS —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-- / CATS ARE US / CHLOE / DIBLEY / KAR / MINTY / LINFORD / “LISA“ / “OLLIE“ / “OTHERS“ DOGS ARE US / BELA / CLYDE -ROTTWEILER PUP / LUCKY / MOLLIE -ROTTWEILER PUP / ROTTWEILER PUPS – THE FIRST FOUR WEEKS / ROTTWEILER PUPS – FOUR WEEKS AND ON / ROTTWEILER PUPS – EIGHT WEEKS AND COUNTING / TROY / “OTHERS“ ROTTWEILER PUPS A litter of 9 rottweiler puppies pups was born 24th March 2009. / Their mother is Bela and he father is Troy. / Taken with Sony Cybershot 14 May 2009. The smallest of the three boys – short haired with very big feet! The Rottweiler, or Rottweil Metzgerhund (“Butchers Dog”), is a “medium to large size, stalwart dog” breed originating in Germany as a herding dog. It is a hardy and very intelligent breed. Rottweilers also worked as draught dogs, pulling carts to carry meat and other products to market. “Rottweiler breeders aim at a dog of abundant strength, black coated with clearly defined rich tan markings, whose powerful appearance does not lack nobility and which is exceptionally well suited to being a companion, service and working dog.” The Rottweiler was kept busy in these traditional roles until the mid-19th century when railroads replaced droving for getting livestock to market. Although there are still Rottweilers working stock all over the world, many other roles have been found for this versatile breed. During the first and second World Wars, Rottweilers were put into service in various roles including as messenger, draught and guard dogs. Currently they are often used as search and rescue, assistance, guide dogs for the blind, guard and police dogs in addition to their traditional roles. Although an extremely versatile breed used in recent times for many other purposes, the Rottweiler is first and foremost one of the oldest, if not the oldest, of herding breeds. A multi-faceted herding and stock protection dog of exceptional ability, it is capable of working all kinds of livestock under a wide variety of conditions. The breed is an ancient one, whose history stretches back to the Roman Empire. In those times, the legions traveled with their meat on the hoof and required the assistance of working dogs to herd the cattle. One route the army traveled was through Württemberg and on to the small market town of Rottweil. The principal ancestors of the first Rottweilers during this time was supposed to be the Roman droving dog, local dogs the army met on its travels, and dogs with molosser appearance coming from England and The Netherlands. This region eventually became an important cattle area, and the descendants of the Roman cattle dogs proved their worth in both driving and protecting the cattle from robbers and wild animals. However, by the end of the 19th century as railroads became the main method for moving stock to market, the breed had declined so much that in 1900 there was only one female to be found in the town of Rottweil. I managed to get a quick shot of one of the monkeys i have living here. They scare me, and i often have to gas the house to cull their numbers down.
Photographed in St James’s Park, London. The grey squirrels are used to people here and some are bold enough to be fed from the hand. However, they have an uncanny instinct about cameras and will move fast when you try and take a picture – especially if you don’t have anything to eat. It took about thirty attempts to get this one image that I was satisfied with. St James’s Park with it’s lake and abundant sycamore trees is across from the main gate of Buckingham Palace.
