  • Astyanax Arroz de Festa Astyanax – named after one of the several nymphalid butterflies, Basilarchia astyanax, recognisable by its blackish wings spotted with red. / Arroz de festa comes from the portuguese noun meaning ‘social butterfly’. / Our Astyanax here (on the right) is a real people person, loves company (rarely seen without Absinth by her side) and never goes anywhere without her red spotted black boots! In this piece Astyanax, an emerging artist, is portrayed during her debut show “Polka dots and Stripes” / Showcasing some of her more contoversal art, Astyanax likes to incorporate polka dots and stripes into her paintings, questioning the social boundaries of the times. / Showing at The Gallery for Freaks and Trippas, a place she frequents often, and is owned and managed by one of her many friends, Astyanax has never been happier! (tho she is suspicious of the photographer! lol!) originals drawn with biro pen on A4 paper / coloured in ps with airbrush. thankyou for taking the time to view my art and (hopefully) comment… / please have a look at my other artwork… / hope you enjoy! :) / Astyanax, Absinth and Azurite Verditer / Absinthe Verte / Azurite Verditer /
