Lolly is the sweetest munchkin, I love her to death! Although I am really, really going to miss my cousin and her gorgie daughter when they move to Macau my compensation is the addition to my family of this little girl. It’s a bit tricky now having a Tolly and a Lolly! When I growl at Lolly for jumping all over the elderly Tolly, Tolly often gives me this kind of “what did I do?” look! But Lolly was named by the afore-mentioned gorgie daughter of my cousin who is 3 years old so there it is. ___________ Other Images / All Things Italy / Animals / Fabulous Felines / Flowers & Leaves & Things / Black & White / Urban / Land, Sea & Sky Scapes / Textures & Abstracts / Triptychs (and one quartet!) / 35mm Film / La Serenissima / Other Places & Things

This dingo in central Australia actually came up to my hand and sniffed it to see if I had any food for him. Seeing that I didn’t he ran off and made himself comfortable in the shade of some tussocks. I took a few shots with the telelense as he was a fair way from me. From these photos I did this drawing. It is not the entire piece, just a detailed section. / Colour pencil and white gouache on brown pastel paper. 1986. Sold

This was taken at the Toronto Zoo! This tiger was laying on a rock, staring at the other tiger, who was pacing back and forth. I don’t know what it is but I prefer them in B&W with selective colouring on the eyes. The very bright green plants in the background, where distracting and I thought this would make the tiger stand out. Please look at in larger view! I hope you like it! Thanks so much for looking!!! =) smile / / /

Find me a cheekier beef horse than this, and I’ll gladly give you my favourite teapot. Detail, colour, taste and pure cheek – this cheeky cow’s got the lot. To quote what she said to me just after I took the picture: “Moo”. And you can’t argue with that. Proud of your kitchen? Imagine this beauty on your wall. As a picture, I mean. Not the actual cow. Crops and resizes by request.
