this gang of Adelie penguins gave me a great opportunity for quite a series of entertaining photographs as they zoomed busily about their icy playground. This photo has become a symbol of connection and friendship among my own personal group of nearest and dearest friends.

WILD & FREE / / We were really lucky to come across these “Little Bee Eaters” whilst on safari in Samburu National Park. A boy and a bird, both singing their song to each other. I have tried this, whistling back to the birds I hear, but they never respond. =P Just a simple little thing I did, kind of a different style but I like it. Was fun to do. =D / Used sepia ink for the characters and border, then added a texture and the music notes in the background with Photoshop. Hope you like it! =3

This was just a lucky catch. My wife got some tulips for her birthday and I took one out as the sun was setting to try a get a nice shot. I put the vase down & as soon as I turned my back I heard the hummer behind me, I turned back around and had time to get off one shot before she realized she wasn’t interested in tulips. / Captured in Cave Creek, Arizona, with a Canon 20D. A Parents Prayer for their sick child. / (2 Samuel 12:22) David answered: While he was still alive, I went without food and cried because there was still hope. I said to myself, “Who knows? Maybe the LORD will have pity on me and let the child live.” / I am an Irish born Missionary living in London I spend much time living with the Kambari tribe, I get to know first hand the challenges they face each day just to survive. I also have the privilege of capturing not only hunger, sickness and often death, but the more happy occasions. This is Grace, and when I first met Grace in April 2007, she was suffering from Chronic Malnutrition, adn intestinal worm infection. This was taken in December 2007, and the difference in 2009 is wonderful. Thank you to all who prayed and donated towards saving Grace. Please do Pray for these precious suffering people in extreme poverty and for us as we press on in our mission to help them. I believe in the power of Prayer and a mighty God. Some of you might recognize this image from my VintageXposure account that I had here temporarily. Well for starters HEY everyone!!! I thought I’d leave a little update about what’s going on these days. Out of 5 months, I only have 4 weeks left of chemo. I can’t believe how the time flew…but happy it did. I haven’t been around here in quite a while as the side effects were pretty awful in the beginning…but these days I’m doing much much better and hanging in there really well. My vital signs and blood work have been consistantly well week by week so that’s a good sign. I also finally started working this week…couldn’t wait to go back to work as I have been climbing the walls, lol. Anyway, I’m looking forward to feeling normal again within the next month…but I’ll do my best to pop in and out to see how all of you are doing. Miss all of you tons and much love to you!! xoxo / kel
