I was wandering in the trains when I glanced back and saw the beautiful tents of the Cirque du Soleil back in 2008. I’d like to imagine how this would look from an aerial view… Enjoy. MORE WORKS FROM MY PORTFOLIO / - – - / Shot settings: / Body: Canon EOS 350D / Lens: Sigma 10-20mm DC HSM EX / Shutter Speed: 3.2” / Focal Length: 13mm / Flash: Did not fire / ISO: 200 / Aperture value: f/10
This drawing I made for a short story in a children’s magazine (though it won’t get published). It’s about a girl who is having her birthday party, but because her mother is ill, she couldn’t invite any of her friends. So instead, she’s having the party with all her plush animals. =) I tried to go for a different technique with this one, namely digital colouring, something I hadn’t properly done in ages (normally I just do some touch-ups). I scanned in my pencil drawing and then coloured it in Photoshop. I do believe I need some more practice with this, but it didn’t end up looking too bad, I hope. =P

Party! Party! Party, kitty style jump and sing, dance awhile! you come, bring a friend too Party, till the dogs go blue! This is a party in full force, with no restraint. Likewise, I have spared no color and subjected none to mute. Vibrant and lively, this is a happy painting with no apologies! Color pencil is applied layer upon layer, until a deep.rich saturation is achieved. It is then hand polished to a satiny sheen, and finished with a medium gloss finish. The original painting is on MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) and is finished on the sides making it ready to hang! About this Painting: Size:12×24x1/2” Materials: Color pencil and marker Media: 1/2 ” MDF panel Style: contemporary cubism Original available from the Artist: $750.00
