Acrylic On Canvas (Original Sold) Concept:You feel that you are unique and set apart for bigger things, not just another sheep under the shepherd’s shears.
Hoot! Hoot! My name’s Ophelia and contrary to popular opinion of what owls are like, I’m normally awake by noon. I feel that life is too short to sleep it away, 5 to 6 hours is good enough for me. There’s so much to feel, be and learn here in this world that I am not going to limit my experiences to night life only. I just love the colour green and almost everything that’s green:D Here I am, taking a little break from the hustle and bustle of city life :D / - This little owl finger puppet toy was a gift from a friend. She bought it at San Frans during her honeymoon there, how sweet! /
Putting aside all owl’s routines , Opelia decided to take a well deserved break by a nearby river. She perched herself on a frangipani tree and was delighted to be greeted by some pretty bright red frangipanies. She indulged herself with the company of these red beauties who seemed eager to know what brought this nocturnal creature to a riverside on a bright sunny afternoon. “Life’s just too beautiful to sleep it away!” Ophelia replied in a playful tone. But she recognised that deep down, this meant truth to her. / You can view and buy my other “Frangipani” creations at my Zazzle Gallery: / /

There she went again, in the company of her flower friends. Ophelia sat down with a group of red hot heliconia ladies, she was so taken in by their tropical beauty and their ability to make intelligent conversation that she lost track of time again. There is no other owl who had as many flower friends as Ophelia :D / / You can view and buy my other “Red Hot Heliconias” creations at my Zazzle Gallery: /
My friend here in RB,Macabrecat uploaded a photo of her owl collection today, I told her I want to show her mine too! This is just one out of the many :D / / You can view and buy my other “Flower Horn” creations at my Zazzle Gallery: /
Ophelia gazes in wonder at these orange palm seeds that are cascading so beautifully from the palm tree. “My seed friends…..you are of the same colour as my eyes, I’m sure looking at you all make my eyes look more orange than they already are!” Ophelia hooted excitedly at the seeds. The seeds looked at one another and were left speechless until Ophelia left them for another tree :D / / You can view and buy my other “Seeing Orange” creations from my Zazzle Gallery:

White release…
Wolves can easily cover fifty miles in one night. and do much of their hunting under cover of darkness. The lone wolf will hunt alone if he has no pack to support him, but usually wolves are pack animals and coordinate together to bring down their prey. Thier howls alert other pack members to their location, and also serve as a warning to competing wolf packs to stay out of their territory. Often a lone warrior will scout out an area for prey, then once prey is located, he will call in his pack to help with the attack. Wolves are only sucessful in bringing down their prey about one time in four and the average wolf will feed only a couple times a week.
