It had rained the night before and part of the early morning so the ground was nice and wet, therefore the leaves didn’t crunch under my feet. I was able to get within touching distance of this little lady. She stopped long enough to let me get this shot and the “Oh Deer” shot that I submitted earlier. I don’t think I have ever been to Cades Cove and not saw deer….Thanks for Looking, Kim

These 3 cow elk were grazing contentedly beside this wonderful old tree at Lake Estes in Estes Park, Colorado….there are a few blades of grass starting to be green…..and tasty! :-)
