Acrylic on canvas. / Inspired by a most uplifting tourist attraction in New Zealand’s Central Otago Cardrona Valley, the Bra Fence appeared in 1999 between Christmas and the New Year. At some stages it boasted over 800 bras, Ive only managed 5 here but I think these ‘girls’ enjoy seeing the funny side of life.
Wild pony on the sand dunes of Assateague Island.
My wife and I were out for a hike one afternoon, we were actual following a whale that we saw from high atop the cliffs. We were walking down this coastal trail to get a better view of the whale when we came across this oceanside pasture. / / Visit my website On The Rock Photography / /

Take advantage of whatever time is given to you. You never realize how precious it could have been until it’s over. / / Four blackbirds sit on a fence surrounding the pool at a park by our house. this is another one in memory of my brother, the third bird with the light on him and with his head tilted down is representative of my brother while the the other three birds are the rest of us kids. People have suggested he looks like the chosen one. / / film / / Oct 07, Tucson, AZ
This crafty cow threaded its long horns through the barbed wire fence, got down on its knees, and munched the grass just outside its normal reach. Aren’t we a lot like that? Going through all sorts of trouble to grab “something better” when everything we need is usually right under our feet! / P.S. In case you’re wondering, I did watch as the process reversed itself and the bovine wonder gingerly manuevered its head and massive horns back through the wires, straightened its knees, and returned to home base without a hitch.
