Well, basically I was down at my waterfront on this winter day, and there were a whole bunch of ducks around like i’d say about 100…It’s weird because there is snow everywhere and they are still here?
This young gent of a duck seemed to be looking for an “exclusive” photo opportunity with me. He would chase the rest of the ducks out of my view, and plant himself directly in front of me.

The male eider is one of my favourite birds.
One duck sits alone in the fog and rain, wondering if he should just go back to bed. Photo was taken with an Olympus 55OUZ camera on auto setting. No flash was used.
I believe that these two ducks are called Wood Ducks. If I am wrong, please let me know. They are at the Brookfield Zoo. Love their coloring. Taken with a Canon EOS 40D.
