Everyone living in a seaside community must have their own ‘special’ resident wildlife. At Monkey Mia, we certainly do! Meet ‘Rogue’ the Australian Pelican. She forgets that her wings are actually her own and thinks they are another pelican muscling in on her personal space. So she spends her time snapping frantically to keep the ‘intruders’ away. I feel bad for taking advantage of her ‘situation’ but it is hilarious to watch and she is very photogenic. Monkey Mia, Shark Bay Western Australia
