Nothing too serious, Siena has just ordered her Salt n Pepper squid and the order is taking longer than expected…. We do live in the lucky country if that’s all she’s got to cry about…

Ive never tried something like this before. Never an artwork emotionally so intense. Would love to thank sandra baraci for the wonderful collab. She has been painting the stunning image of `tracie76 portrait for a while now, which she abandoned in the middle. I really wanted to complete it in my form, and I did. / She says she found the motivation back again to finish the canvas, which is an honour . Thankyou both of you for the wonderful experience.

Time heals all wounds. Time flies when you’re having fun. Time stands still. Time waits for no one. If I could turn back the hands of Time. Frozen in Time. Timeless…. you get the idea. Well, I wanted to create a series that perhaps captured the essence of these things, in relation to human emotion. And so my Time series was born. I know in my heart what each of them means, but I did not name them anything specific, so that the viewer could make up their own mind as to the meaning of each piece. I think that is something unique to every individual. So…my heartfelt thanks for continuing to watch and support my artistic endeavors. It feeds the fire that burns and inspires. / Aimee
I will not be responding to comments but know how much I appreciate you taking the time to look/read, and perhaps understand. This is probably the MOST personal thing I have ever done, and emotionally this has been a murder of the soft spoken, try to blend in, don’t attract attention, be still and she will go away side of me. I was up all night creating this image and I finished the poem this morning. This is the beginning of my exorcism where the pain and hurt have grown and festered for many years. I had to watch the murder of my meek side in order to find the strength to move forward. Vonne The Rabbit Inside Me Is Dead / Today I watched as you committed your vile act / Watched as you began your attack / I have watched in silence for too long / Watched you spread lies with diseased tongue / Watched as you deceived the innocents / Watched as you pointed the finger at everyone / The fault always was another’s and never you / So mother it saddens me to say / When you attacked one of mine / That was the final injury / I saw only red… / Now the rabbit inside me is dead. / Y. music by Enigma / art: me / prose by Linaji I have feelings.. / they are full bodied / and fluid, / rooted and nourished by my tears, / I felt for a moment our lives / as I feel them NOW / inside your skin inside your fears, / Lust that climbs mountains / Crossing crags of human loss / I find my freedom rumbles from / the corners of my cross / I bear to witness, / My eyes will testify, / My song will sing the tune, / Then slowly down the lovers / crown, / Appears the kiss of sun at noon.

Master, the Tempest is Raging (Peace! Be Still) / by Mary A. Baker Master, the tempest is raging! / The billows are tossing high! / The sky is o?ershadowed with blackness / No shelter or help is nigh / Carest Thou not that we perish? / How canst Thou lie asleep / When each moment so madly is threatening / A grave in the angry deep? Master, with anguish of spirit / I bow in my grief today / The depths of my sad heart are troubled / Oh, waken and save, I pray! / Torrents of sin and of anguish / Sweep o?er my sinking soul / And I perish! I perish! dear Master / Oh, hasten, and take control Master, the terror is over / The elements sweetly rest / Earth?s sun in the calm lake is mirrored / And heaven?s within my breast / Linger, O blessed Redeemer! / Leave me alone no more / And with joy I shall make the blest harbor / And rest on the blissful shore The winds and the waves obey Thy will / Peace, be still! / Whether the wrath of the storm tossed sea / Or demons or men, or whatever it be / No waters can swallow the ship where lies / The Master of ocean, and earth, and skies / They all shall sweetly obey Thy will / Peace, be still! Peace, be still! / They all shall sweetly obey Thy will / Peace, peace, be still!

Sometimes things are broken beyond being repair. Life sometimes throws too many things your way and how do you deal with them all?

I don’t think the great Carmelite saint, John of the Cross, was urging us to shut up about our sorrows in this quote; rather, I believe he was reminding us that in the midst of our anguish there is more comfort from the silent Suffering Servant who feels our pain and embraces us within His own than in all the words of frustration, complaint, or explanation we might try to express.
