  • I TOOK THIS SHOT OF THE BLUE ANGLES IN 1981, AT TRAVIS AFB CALIFORNIA. TWO YEARS LATER, 1983, I TOOK THAT 8X10 PHOTO BACK AND HAD THE BLUE ANGLES PILOTS SIGN IT. THAT IS THE SAME PHOTO I SCANNED INTO MY COMPUTER. UNFORTUNATELY THERE WERE DIFFERENT PILOTS IN 1983, THAN THE ONES IN 1981 WERE, BUT HEY, WHO’S COUNTING. AT LEAST I GOT THE SIGNATURES. ALL THE PILOTS ASKED ME WHERE I GOT THE PICTURE, I TOLD THEM THE TRUTH, I TOOK IT. ALTHOUGH IT HAS #1 BY MY INITIALS, IT IS ACTUALLY THE ONLY ONE. THE BLUE ANGLES ARE BASED AT PENSICOLA FLORIDA AND DON’T GET TO NORTHERN CALIFORNIA MUCH ANYMORE ACCEPT FOR FLEET WEEK IN SAN FRANSISCO AND SAN DIEGO.

  • “atoms” / I like working with plants (& flowers) and find a way to see them as if it was the first time, again and again. Yet, getting a different vision and trying to illustrate it so others may see through my own eyes. Or at least, inspire them so they get their own vision of it. / this is one of the serie of 3 pictures from this plant. the visual representation is about the cellular life and atoms. / - / copyrighted -> MCN: CD440-8E1B2-C471F / /

  • Strangely, one of the more beautifully colored buildings in my area is a local hospital. It has a subtle red brick with blue and black windows with interesting architecture.I guess they really wanted it to be a nice place to be, considering the circumstances of why you may be there. So i’m trying to give a second look at the buildings all around me you normally wouldn’t give a second look at. The local theater, a motel, you’ll find interesting angles, textures and colors in the most unexpected places

  • Yesterday, I went on my first photo walk in downtown Montreal with my sister Carole . I’m still in my first year of photography, so there is a great deal of photo opportunities that are new to me. This is the Bell tower, where I used to work, back in the early 80s. It was brand new at the time, with some floors still under construction. The company was called Bell Canada back then, and it was our only telephone service provider at the time in Quebec. My mom also worked there until her retirement, some years ago. We used to get together a few times a week for lunch, and had breakfast together every morning. The sight of this building stirs up a lot of nice memories… Focal length 55mm / ISO-100 / Aperture f/9 / Shutter 1/200 sec.
