Dancing with Angels in the fire light, / Unveiling my soul to a merciless flame. / Swaying to the savage drums of the night, / A hungry blaze consumes my sin and shame. Whispering prayers into smoke and dust, / My body is drenched in sacred ground. / Granting enchanted spirits unyielding trust, / Barbaric drums continue to pound. Cleansing the deepest valleys in my mind, / My thoughts are filled with faith and love. / Nothing impure will be left behind, / While heavenly spirits reign from above. / Thanks!!!!
My eyes do not see them / My ears will not hear them. / My hands cannot touch them / and they slip through my memory like dreams upon waking. Yet in my soul, I hear the rush of wind through silken wings, / and I feel the elusive touch of something soft upon my face, / tracing the lines of my being….beckoning me…. My heart sees beyond and brings back to me the infinite grace of their presence and I am re-minded again of love. / They are the beauty and compassion that even the blind can see. / They are the song of life that even the deaf can hear. / They are the ones who silently observe us / in the mirror of time / waiting for us / to remember who they are, / and reaching through the veil of human limitations, / to finally remember, / who we truly are.

“There are two ways of spreading the LIGHT… / to be the candle or the mirror that reflects it.” Edith Wharton The above saying has been a ‘mantra’ of mine for quite some time, however today as I was playing with this heARTwork, a burst of energetic LIGHT sparked beneath my feet, lighting me like a Christmas tree, up the chakra channels until I could no longer sit still. Stepping outside, with camera in tow, the most ethereal skyline I have ever seen… If we are to transform the world, we must first transform ourselves… With this insight, my intentions are to provide a melody of opportunities, tools and experiences to assist those seeking the ‘CHANGE’... Change the World

Written by ~ Charles Dickens: And Angel Voices Say… The pure, the bright, the beautiful / That stirred our hearts in youth; / The impulses to wordless prayers, / The streams of love and truth; / The longing after something lost, / The spirit’s yearning cry; / The striving after better hopes… / These things can never die. The timid hand stretched forth to aid / A brother in his need; / A kindly word in grief’s dark hour / That proves a friend indeed; / The plea for mercy softly breathed / When justice threatens high; / The sorrow of a contrite heart… / These things shall never die. Let nothing pass, for every hand / Must find some work to do; / Lose not a chance to waken love; / Be firm and just and true; / So shall a light that cannot fade / Beam on thee from on high, / And angel voices say to thee… / “These things shall never die.” / All profit goes to Feed The Children As of November 29, 2009 ~ 995 views.

Inspired by Sufi Poem by HAFIZ “Crushed Angel” You have not danced so badly, my dear, / Trying to hold hands with the Beautiful One. You have waltzed with great style, / My sweet, crushed angel, / To have ever neared God’s heart at all. Our Partner is notoriously difficult to follow, / And even His best musicians are not always easy to hear. So what if the music has stopped for a while. So what / If the price of admission to the Divine / Is out of reach tonight. So what, my dear, / If you do not have the ante to gamble for Real Love. The mind and the body are famous / For holding the heart ransom, But Hafiz knows the Beloved’s eternal habits. Have patience, / For He will not be able to resist your longing / For Long. You have not danced so badly, my dear, / Trying to kiss the Beautiful One. You have actually waltzed with tremendous style, / O my sweet, O my sweet crushed angel. – HAFIZ Oil on Canvas, 35” x 45” – $600

With this image I cut out a guitar from a photo of my brother in law jamming on Easter 2007. I cleaned it up, put it through my filter gallery, added the poster edges effect, then I cloned some spots to darken some areas. I also added some shadow on the bottom of the guitar with my basic brushes (photoshop brushes). I then added swirls (photoshop brushes) and erased some parts of it. For the background I added angel wings (photoshop brushes) and put some style to them. I gave them somewhat of an invisible look so whatever color shirt you choose, the wings will be that color. I also added some hearts (photoshop brushes) because we all have that love for music. Underneath the guitar, I added some musical notes (photoshop brushes) to give it that nice touch. Then I said to myself, what the hell, I will add some splatter paint to it to give some extra color and for more of a playful look. For the colors, I altered the colors with my image adjustments. I fixed the contrast, added highlights, and made an auto color adjustment. This is my entry for the music machines challenge
