Worcester Cathedral Angel with a backdrop of stained glass.
A praying angel at Worcester Cathedral looks towards the heavens in hope of a reply to her prayers.
This is my first long dialogue with a doe this spring. The ground is still frozen and some snow remains but she is ready to EAT, and yet she is in no hurry to turn away from the camera before I could get a decent shot of her beautiful figure. :) Donation to charity / 50% of the proceeds of the sale of this image will be donated to Algonquin Park

This is my favorite doe, who posed for us last fall, for many many pictures! She gave birth to a few more fawns this spring, who have become River’s “new best friends”. She is just as proud and pretty as last year!
“From whence then hast Thou that living water?” John 4:11 This painting was inspired by the moving devotions penned and published by Oswald Chambers in the early 1900’s. His powerful book, My Utmost for His Highest, continues to touch my life and draw me closer to Jesus. I hope that this art and verse do the same for you! These two little porcelain angels were a gift to me from my dearly departed mother-in-law Mona Barry. Every time I see them I think of her (a mother of ten) and of the verse from “Silent Night”: sleep in heavenly peace.
Christmas card isn’t my speciality ! / But… I was this in my computer ! :)
peace on earth….
Inspired by Queensryche- Silent Lucidity / It started when I was 8 or 9, I remember going to my mom’s friend’s house and my mom telling me that I should talk to the little girl there, she said that she sees angels and talks about them regularly. I felt a bit odd asking the little girl any questions about such things, but she ended up being very open to talking about them. She said she had 12 angels around her because she had asked God for them. Some, she said, she sent to watch over various members of her friends and family when they needed it. She told me they all had names, and I asked her how she knew them, and she said to me, / ” their names are not something I could really understand, so they called themselves what ever they thought would make sense to me. ” She said that when she thought of each specific one the name would come into her mind. / I told her I wished I had an angel around me and she simply shrugged and said, ” just ask God for it ” as if I was silly for not thinking of such a thing on my own. / When I went home that night that is exactly what I did. Before bed I asked God to send me angels to watch over me, but not so many as the little girl had unless he wanted to disperse them among my family… / I said to God ” All I need myself really, is ONE “ / And from that time on, I felt like it had been done. / Their names, you might see come through my artwork. But though I know there were more than one, there is ONE in particular who stands out over all of them. / My 4 year old sees him regularly now, which came as a shock to me. / ” Dont you want to come outside and play with me and my new friend “ / Kristian told me a few months ago. / I told him I hadnt realized he had made any new friends. / ” Yeah, ” Kristian said ” his names Jonathan. He used to stay in the house with us but today he stayed out in the shed with the cat. “ / That worried me so I took a trip out to the shed to check things out. Finding nothing, I told Kris ” I dont see any Jonathan hunny “ / and he looked confused. He said ” Yeah, you know him mommy, he says you do. ” and I insisted “no, I dont “ / Kris got very defensive and told me matter of factly ” Well he follows you all over and sits behind you when you are on your computer. how come you can’t see him ?” / I didnt realize who he may have been referring to until then… = ) and since I never talk to my son about my art or my stories much beyond those for children, / I am surprised at what he knows.
FAINT FLUTTER
Inspired by Enya – Pax Deorum / Era – Ameno / and the song Dream of the Fayth It was created from a compilation of a few pictures a while ago, all placed together into one: / Waiting, the conservatory, and changeling This was actually done as a beginning to my collection of pictures that I had done surrounding my Anima story. It was never really meant in itself to be something for sale or anything like that. In life, we learn, we grow, we discover new things. And that is what a lot of my writing is all about as well as some of my art. Though much of it is spiritual in nature, there is also a very dark side to some of it that I do not show on here. / Sort of like the two different names I write by: kynetik, and statikk. It is all dependant on my mood for the time. Sort of the dualities inside me. I think that is how the changeling picture came about. In some of my art, the girl Alexis is modeled after my perceptions of what the real Alexis from my life would have been like had she had the chance to grow in this world. But there is also a lot of me in her. I consider it to be the more feminine side of me. Where as Jon would represent the more masculine side of me at the times that the certain pictures are not really meant to depict “Jon” himself. = ) You will see a lot of orbs in my pictures because I have a fascination with such things.
Beautiful Day was both the name of a band and the name of the only alubm (that is what MP3 files were called back then), The music and the album cover remind me of this photograph. You should listen to the music.

Entering the gates / I approach another world / one of lonely voices / calling to the ground / to loved ones now departed tokens, flowers, letters / with messages to God / calling for safe keeping / in another dimension / forever left in place upon the graves I look around and notice / a lovely figure there, a cherubim / eyes looking up to Heaven / and gleaning white so bright / but alas it’s hands are broken and wings are clipped the nose is chipped / the base is old / but from it’s face I see / that look that angels have / a precious look, as they watch out for our souls the face of a guardian / looking at me / a sentinel on watch / keeping safe God’s spirit friends / among the gumtrees in this little country town. / FEATURED in Amazing Graves Group. Taken at Ravenshoe Cemetery, a little town in Far Nth Queensland, Australia with some truly amazing graves… Pondering God… /
