I wanted to paint a rainbow. A Pretty Picture of Life. I climbed the ladder to try to reach up high. The rain drops poured like tears from heaven. The sun it warmed my heart. As I reached the very top step. It was as high as I could climb. I saw the rainbow painted for me. I knew that it was mine. All of heaven knew I loved rainbows, so the angels painted one for me. It was just outside my door. The only thing they asked of me to repay them for their chore. Was to share with others what they had done, and they asked of me no more.

If you love angels like I do then I think you will like this one. This angel is called The Healing Angel. The colors are very vivid with blues and greens. This is one of my angels I created while using my mouse.

St Mary of the Angels / Corner of Boulcott & Willis Sts, Wellington, New Zealand. / The current building was opened in 1922, and is the third church built on this site, the previous church having been destroyed by fire on 28 May 1918. Plans for the church were prepared in 1919 by architect Frederick de Jersey Clere, who designed oer 100 churches, mainly in the southern half of the North Island. The building was completed, blessed and opened in 1922 at a cost of £31,165. The design is traditional Gothic of French influence. It is innovative in that it is ‘the first occasion ferro-concrete was used for a church of Gothic design’. It is built of reinforced concrete and brick with a timber roof supported by concrete arches with steel tie rods. The building is now classified as a “Category I” (“places of ‘special or outstanding historical or cultural heritage significance or value”) historic place by the New Zealand Historic Places Trust.
