Prisma colored pencils. One of the pieces i did for the vegan restaurant on the river, Guerneville, Ca. A lot of Hell’s Angels live there, or drive through there, so i thought a Hell’s Angel Dog on a Harley might bring them into the restaurant. The restaurant went out of business b4 i got a chance to find out

As you probably know already I have this thing for Angels! I worked this nifty way of plugging 3 programs into another to get a really beautiful Vector. On a technical standpoint – I really enjoyed the process of figuring out how to mimic hand and sketch work then converting this image into a fully scaleable vector file. YES. THIS IS A VECTOR! This is very handy if I ever want a poster sized version in gargantuan proportions! I think this turned out beautifully! Based on val-j’s beautiful image on sxc.hu On a purely aesthetic standpoint – this is just a homage to all those amazing graphic work that mixes old and new religious statues into something quite contemporarily inspiring. eg. Have a look at the artwork for DJ Mix Series – Renaissance. Lastly I really wanted one of these babies on a shirt! Hope you like it!
