The Loss describes the fact that we all lost something, then we feel so lonely. It can be something or someone that made of us what we are, that made that we felt alive. / But finally all those events that hurt us so much built us, make us stronger and give us something in addition, something that will make us special! We only notice that (for those who notice it) a very long time later… In this creation this loss is reprensentated by the snail’s cockle, like if before she was in it, this was on her back, just like when a snail leave it. / But look at her back, ya see what she got in return? Wings. / The tree branches on her head symbolize her thoughts, so deeply rooted in her mind that she cannot see the good days and hope that are coming to her! This represents our blocked thoughts, when we feel so bad that we cannot help from having dark and depressive thoughts. / She also has elvish ears, the magicks she cannot see yet! So this creation is for those who actually feel bad, who have felt bad, who will feel bad. . Yet sold two posters of this creation. My gallery is Copyright © Wandering Soul. A Parents Prayer for their sick child. / (2 Samuel 12:22) David answered: While he was still alive, I went without food and cried because there was still hope. I said to myself, “Who knows? Maybe the LORD will have pity on me and let the child live.” / I am an Irish born Missionary living in London I spend much time living with the Kambari tribe, I get to know first hand the challenges they face each day just to survive. [portrait taken in Natural Light] : 16/11/2008 [AS IS] I was walking from one village to the next, in Remote Nigeria. one of the team noticed this young girl following us for some time. I stopped and spoke to her through an interpretor. We learned that she was 13 years old and caring for three younger Sisters. As she told us here story, I Felt compelled to return to her village. There we met her three younger sisters in the most extreme poverty. Both Parents were dead and no other living relatives. We spoke to the village Chief and the elders who pleaded with us to help the family. We did, as God lead us to and blessed her with clothing, and the following day we sent two of our field workers to meet with her and now they have a small regular income from our mission funds. UPDATE 5-8-2009. Mary is now at School. We pay her school fees adn her three younger sisters are well and happy. We need help with Susan, aged 9. She wants to go to school also. We need help with school fees, uniform adn text books. Can you help? will you Help? The song “beautiful” by 10 years really says a lot to me about how we view ourselves and in comparison to those on television. We spend hundreds of dollars on products that make us look younger, erase wrinkles, enhancing our breasts and even bleach our assholes. Anything to stay beautiful because we don’t want to be overlooked, we want that feeling of importance…that feeling that someone will remember you because of how you look. After awhile, we change ourselves so much that we forget what we used to look like, or how we behaved, because we were so used to feeling the same way we looked, and that’s fake. And what remains is the beautiful being we truly were, only now it has withered and died, and what’s left is something uglier. Photoshop Fun and slight referenced used. Tried out the famous Andrew Jones style of “shape sifting”
