  • Taken from sunset rock on King’s Tableland at Wentworth Falls in the Blue Mountains.

  • Spent three hours shivering while waiting for the sun to poke its head out and light up the rock. It did so for a couple of minutes and I managed this shot. The bonus was the beginning of a rainbow (that didn’t get any bigger!) – looks a bit like a volcano. Three images combined in Photomatix.

  • Taken an hour before dawn. A five minute exposure allowed the one nearbye floodlight to illuminate the posts of the jetty.
