I wanted to put it up because it really makes me smile and feel happy at the sheer lack on inhibition some children have – this is Abe being a conductor and singing his heart out – totally nuts!!!!! I haven’t been out much lately as my little girl has been poorly (so sorry if i missed some of your work) however, yesterday i NEEDED to get out with my camera and luckily i didn’t have to go too far. This is the iconic Angel of the North – you can see it driving on the A1 – it is such a powerful symbol and awesome to see.

This scenic pic is a combination of shots. A composite of four shots. All shots were taken in northern California with my Canon Rebel XT, EOS. My husband loves to feed the birds, and other critters along the coast line. I took shots of him feeding the birds, and I love to take shots of sunsets over the coast. The west coast sunsets are some of the best. I turned it BW and love it best in BW. He loves to stop at sunset for a break so I can shoot, early morning and sunset are my favorite times to shoot.

It’s getting to the point where you’ll need a risk assesor, paramedic, fireman, police officer and the obligatory solicitor in attendance before you can let your kids play in a public park. Councils and local government are so worried about legal proceedings, health and safety madness has taken over. What’s happened to the time when accidents were just accidents?

This was taken on a tripod, no flash, f25, ISO 200, 1.3 sec exposure with a Canon DSLR EOS 350D. I was so fortunate to sell, on redbubble, a large mounted print of this work, with the white border and artist’s details, to a good friend, Nathan. Thank you so much.

It was so cold that I bundled up in a sleeping bag for two hours waiting for the Aurora to sit low enough on the horizon to silhouette the trees.
