This is my mothers vintage Minolta SRT 201 35 MM Film Camera body. This vintage beauty inspired me to love photography. My mother was a concert photographer and enjoyed the art of capturing that live magic on stage. She was born in Munich Germany or in her native language: ( getragen in Munchen Deutschland. ) I absolutly love the craftsman ship of the case, the Name at the top, this is a vintage beauty. I wanted to share a little bit about why this camera is a truely amazing piece of history. Your looking @ the birth of the modern 35mm SLR!!!!!!!!!!!! World fame came with the Exakta. Looking at this 2 gorgeous old girls I thought to myself. Wow the history these vintage cameras have seen, image if they could speak, the gossip they would spread! I know the TV Show Gossip Girls is popular so I loved the title. I dont watch it myself. PHOTO DETAILS: / Adjustments to contrast brightness a little bit and I adjusted the blue under Curves to make the silver stand out. The cabinet in the background is a vintage Chinese Herbal Apocathary. It was used by a herbal pharmacy to mix teas or potions. I love it. Both cameras have history: / The Minolta is my mothers vintage Minolta SRT 201 35 MM Film Camera. It is the camera that inspired me to love photography. My mother was a concert photographer and enjoyed the art of capturing that live magic on stage. This camera has seen Elvis, Marty Stuart, and numerous country music legends…..... The Exakta is my late relatives, who was key in my passion for photography.
