Click Here Upper Antelope Canyon Is a spectacular petrified sand dune, created by wind, water and sand, presenting a sculptured masterpiece. / My Navajo Indian guide was lovely and explained many of the legends associated with this area. Yosemite National Park – April 2008 Dragged myself out of bed at 7am with a raging temperature and flu in minus temps. Skated with tripod along an ice covered bridge to re-shoot this waterfall after a corrupt CF card, anything for a shot huh?? Mooney Falls is a waterfall on Havasu Creek, in the northwest corner of the U.S. state of Arizona, near the town of Supai in the Havasupai Indian Reservation. It is named after prospector D. W. “James” Mooney who fell to his death trying to cross the canyon on a homemade ladder. Local Native Americans called it “Hualapai” or “Hualpai” falls. It is located about 1 kilometre downstream (i.e. to the north) of Havasu Falls, just past the large campground that lies between the two falls. Mooney Falls is accessible with considerable difficulty down a very steep trail (including two rock tunnels) that has been cut into the rock. Chains and a ladder at the bottom assist, but spray from the falls coats the dust-covered rock with water and reddish mud that makes climbing treacherous.

Depicts an old shed slumping into the autumn landscape, recalls a simpler time and way of life. This actually exists inside the metro Area of Atlanta, in an area fast giving way to subdivisions and shopping malls. Had to catch it before it was gone… More photos of Rural America

I love patterns in nature, call me a huge sucker for them. It can be abstraction or realism, but either way I just love em. It ranks up there with textures in nature for me. But when you add a lil light into that, you can get an image that just tends to pop. This one did that very thing to me, when I was out shooting. It really caught my eye….captured on a farm in rural Colorado, in the morning light. / Thoughts appreciated! :)

I couldn’t really think of a title for this shot, I tend to really be bad at doing that and well, the title of this kinda just popped in my head….I was just getting ready to leave Washington Park in Denver, when I happened to glance over and noticed this, and it just sorta caught my eye, the color, the light, the symmetry of the whole scene…so I went ahead and swung my tripod around and shot a few of the scene. words fail me here: MASSIVE i can’t do it justice here, 2.5 miles long, 275 seperate falls drop is 269 feet. it is in brazil, paraguay, and argentina to see this in its true perspective, type: iguazu falls in your browser. iguazu national park is a unesco world heritage site
