A portrait of an engineer for the world-famous Chicago ‘L’ Line circa 1940’s- that’s the elevated train system that runs all over that great American city. He seems to be on break, sitting there with a paper next to him. He’ll still get us where we need to go on time though, of course. / The original was completed in watercolor and gouache, late 2006.

A Sunrise Over Golden Captured overlooking Golden, Colorado from Lookout Mountain / I went ahead and set the scene up and was thinking “Oh ya, maybe I should try using my filters!” and wallah, this is the outcome! It was a cold morning to say the least, and once again my damn tripod was like a flagpole one licks when it is below freezing lol You have to love the feel of cold, icy steel on bare skin! It is so much fun! NOT! lol But I think it was pretty much worth it.
