I have always loved and admired traditional B&W street photography, it harkens back to my days in the wet darkroom, processing Ilford film. Denver is great for this kinda shooting, so much to see, learn, experiment with, and experience. I figured this one made for a nice shot….. Thoughts welcomed! / —-John

These purple flowers are blooms of the cocklebur plant. A wild flower loved for its color, but becomes a bane for sheep ranchers.

The small town of Cedarburg Wisconsin (population 11,298) was the first stop for McCain – Palin on the morning after the final day of the Republican convention. This was just before noon on Friday September 5th. No matter what your political views happen to be, this photo captures history in the now.

This wonderful creature is one of the main focal points in the current North American political playground. Wolves are incorrectly perceived as a threat to man and livestock. Misinformed individuals including some otherwise educated politicians believe wolves should be eliminated. Wolves are not the threat, Man is! We destroy the land wolves inhabit then we wonder why these great animals seek out food in farmers fields, towns and cities. Wolves need to be protected.
