Taken from home of the early morning light streaming across the paddocks and cattle yards…and low mist nestled amongst the hills and gullys… DebsPhotos
Again experimenting with soundscapes within a visual medium. I’ve taken the key of B-Major to a colour scheme and added highlighted washes of movement to mirror sound that floats in and out. Listening to local ambient artist James Gordon Anderson, this image reflects his washes and tones, smooth majestic energy and the underlying theme of blissful sound.
/ One quiet afternoon, I set about discovering all of the fine details in the beautiful Hotel Estherea. The attention to décor and placement of their objects and art, I soon discovered, was put together with a photographer’s keen eye, making the very best of the light. Over in one corner I discovered this five-feet-high, hand-hammered brass vase reflecting the window’s light. This window looks out upon the Canal. The gold and deep red brocade heavy curtains warmed the Light. I have uploaded this with no digital manipulation (with the exception of sizing and reducing noise). I have perhaps captured Rembrandt’s Light. (Amsterdam in May, 2009). A magical place indeed.
Its just a bit of colour, kind of background music only visual instead of sound. Meant to brighten up a dull corner quietly if you know what I mean. Well its all in the title. Be happy. /

Lately I have been trying out another inking technique and I have tried to simplify my designs down to the absolute necessary. / This is my third attempt at this way of going about it, and I must say myself that I am a lot more satisfied with this design than earlier character designs I did before I started to simplify things. / It is obvious that the old mantra about minimizing everything down to a minimum is something to pay close attention to. / Simplicity is the word ladies and gangsters… POS

Wooden jewellery box with golden latch. Shot taken next to lamp light, I loved the warm tones. Last (maybe) in the series, just really loved the particular kind of warm light that this lamp gives off. Straight from camera / Camera – Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ30 I took a series of shots by the same lamp light, shown below:
I can’t describe this image with words, i can express some descriptions of it with music, sound or with other images… /
Remember Peretztroyka in the middle 90’s?..., i use to hate the 90’s during the 90’s; now i think that i never got the whole avant garde of those days because i was too busy making sculptures and dancing house and trance; now i can apreciate the 90’s for there is nothing left from the last 40 years of west counterculture this days. so the 90’s were the last paradise, even if i never wanted to recognize that and this future is showing me the raw true. This painting is so digital as the 90’s were the last stand of west culture. / The paradox is that i am treating the pixels as if it were oil paint.(is less toxic) If you don’t know what the hell i am talking about please let me know.
