This is a result of a 35mm scanner from an old slide I brought out of archive. My Daughter and her best friend Libby.. She was such a loving dog. We were in a very special place where the water ran fast and you did not hear any vehicle’s. Replacement to get rid of the frame.

This piece was inspired by my passion for the Birds Of Prey, and the “Very Special” friendship that I share with my dear friend Julie Langford. So I’d like to dedicate this piece to Juls and To Special Friendships! / This is two photos I’ve edited and blended in PS. The background shot is one I had taken from my backyard as the sun was setting. And the bird of prey is a Tawny Eagle that Julie Langford had taken. I think it is an incredibly stunning shot!!! And I hope you like what I’ve done with this piece Juls!! :-)) Pleas see more of Juls Beautiful work / Some Info: / The eagle is one of the biggest and most powerful birds in the world. / Eagles have been linked to power and dignity by people everywhere. / Some naturalists believe an eagle can see a rabbit two miles away. / Eagles are found on every continent except for Antarctica. Some live in swamps and jungles, and still others live high in the mountains, along the shores of large lakes or in forests. / The eagle can glide for long periods of time without having to flap its long, broad wings. It is an expert at hitchhiking a ride on rising air currents. Using air currents, it may soar more than two miles above the ground. / Eagles are not the fastest birds, but they can reach speeds of about one hundred miles an hour. / An eagle’s eyes are very important part of its hunting equipment. It would starve without them. To protect them from injury, the eagle has a third eyelid that it can see through. This eyelid is called a nictitating membrane. It moves across the eye from side to side, cleaning and moistening the eye. / The eagle has made a comeback from the edge of extinction. More work is needed though to insure that the numbers continue to grow. We can help them by working together!!

A row of arches overlooking the hills, Amber Fort; Jaipur, Rajasthan. This fort served as the capital for the Maharajas of this region, until Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh felt that the time was right to start a new city, which he named after himself – Jaipur. His reasoning was based on the fact that he had entered into an agreement with the fierce Mughal rulers based in nearby Agra (now in Uttar Pradesh) to marry his daughter to a prince – this lead to peace, and him being the Commander of the Mughal Army. As Mughal power waned he felt it was safe to expand his kingdom and seat of power. There are a number of forts in Jaipur including the older Jaigarh Fort, next to this one, and the newer City Palace which was established once the city was built. Part of this palace is also open to the public and the current (titleless) Maharaja resides there when he is not in the UK.

Reworked-added an orton effect / This was inspired by my love and passion for the ocean and orchids. It is comprised of two photos I shot. The background photo was taken of a sunset in Vero Beach. And the floral photo was a shot I had taken of some Cattleya Orchids at the Orchid Show last year. I’ve altered the original photos and merged them in PS.

Another in my infrared base image series. Two layers of the base image that is the infrared, multiplied in Photoshop’s layer palette blending modes. This one has an added boat, the moon, and some sun streaks shining through. I tried to swing the colour a bit more sepia on this one, just to make it interesting. ;-)

O beautiful / for spacious skies / for amber waves of grain . . . . Two and a half million rural children, a fifth of all rural children, live in poverty, compared to 15 percent for children living in metropolitan areas. One in five rural children lived in food insecure households in 2000—food insecurity and hunger are more prevalent in rural America than in the nation as a whole. I am sending this black and white image because there was a thought that I should get rid of this framed version that is posted now. Not supposed to have framed images I guess. I will also send up the replacement for the Daguerreotype without the frame.
