Some street lights on the Amalfi Coast Italy
A sleeping Cat taken on the Amalfi coast Italy.
this is a painting from 1998 when we travelled to the Amalfi Coast. This was from Ravello’s Castle above the town of Amalfi. I painted many works from Positano.
Taken at a shop window in the Southern Italian town of Positano. I just thought the collection of red chillies and limoncello bottles were a fair representation of our time in this beautiful little village on the Amalfi Coast

Positano Italy on the Amalfi coast
Beautiful Sorrento, Italy :) . /
Positano, Amalfi coast, Italy. One can never stop photographing it…
Amalfi, south Italy. Picturesque medieval towns Amalfi and Positano, with their colorful houses stacked against the cliff are among the most photographed little towns in the world. Rather than going for brigh colors, here I tried for a different photo and different atmosphere.
A little piazza in south Italy, lit up and decorated for the fiesta
A young girl looking up at storm clouds If you would like to buy a card, print or poster just go to ‘buy/preview’ I superimposed my photograph of a young girl against my photograph of stormy clouds on the Amalfi coast, Italy
Taken in Amalfi, Italy with a Pentax 35mm film camera. Scanned in.
This was taken with a film camera and scanned to digital. It was taken in Amalfi, Italy in summer. It was taken several years ago, but still looks like it is much older. Don’t you just love Italy?
Click Here I love the atmosphere in Sorrento, Italy. The streets are like mazes, narrow, cobbled and thoroughly enchanting. Praiano, Italy…the long and very steep decent leading down to the Mediterranean sea. One must take a very small noisy 2 person lift to reach the steps… Climbing down the narrow winding stairway takes effort, but not nearly as exhausting as climbing back up. Leaves one plenty of time to reflect…
Inspired by a recent trip to the Amalfi coast. I loved the colours and the sparkling sunlight
The beautiful city of Sorrento, on the Amalfi Coast in Italy, overlooking the Mediteranian Sea. This is taken from our hotel room balcony in October of 2007. The lights on the horizon are the city of Naples. / Camera: Canon EOS 30D / Exposure: 7 sec (7) / Aperture: f/5.6 / Focal Length: 18 mm / ISO Speed: 200
used camera : Nikon D50 Nov 10, 2009: 237 views
While in Ravello, the winding, twisting cobbled streets lead to a balcony from which this view of the Bay of Naples treats residents daily to a slice of Italian beauty.

Taken on September 27, 2008 with an Olympus FE-220 looking up. During our Southern Italy Trip we stayed in Paestum, and on each day took the coach bus for one day trips in another city. On this day we got dropped off to take a ferry to Capri. During the ferry ride we pass by a lot of mountainous islands, and the cities are built upon them. It is fascinating to see these buildings as though they are stacked upon one another. This stop was at Amalfi. / / Also available at Zazzle / / / See my Italy calendar for more italy pics Or just browse my works by category: Featured/Popular Early Works [pre-university] / Origami / Drawings,Paintings and Graphics / Abstract Photography / Guessing Games / / Flowers, Trees and Plants / Water and Waterscapes / Scenery/Skyscapes / Light, Shadow, and Reflections / Still Life Living Creatures / Human Portrait Japanfluence / Canada / Europe
