this image started out as a black and white photograph, viewing into a butcher’s window on The Main (Rue St. Laurent), in Montreal, in about 1970. I have many interpretations of this image at various stages of morphing. This one, at a latter stage, is in colour and has lost almost all of the photographic information, which has been replaced by digital painting-like information.
