This is a rant that I wish to share! In some of the works here on RB, I have noticed that people will use other’s work and not give credit or provide links. Why do people do this? I could come off as the best master photoshop artist around if I used other people’s work and passed it off as my own. Instead I take the time to use my own photography, and backgrounds. If I do a collaberation I not only mention the photographer’s name, I provide a link back to their work. The worse part is that I recognize this, as I have collaborated with various photographers over the years even if I dont have it all on RB. It really disappoints me when I see this, and then the artists not giving accreditation take it one step further and offer it for sale!!! Be creative and create your own! Or at least have the decency to acknowledge the work of others. Standing on the shoulders of giants doesnt make you a great artist, it makes you stupid and a theif!
