for Now here’s my darkside “My Darkside” seeks to explore issues of identity and meaning and the questioning of one’s life and purpose over time and beyond time. There is deliberate loneliness and isolation as the viewer is invited to journey in the small boat in the moonlight of her face. Human attitudes towards menstruation, and menstrual blood in particular, have a spotty history. Ancient Middle Eastern cultures regarded the blood as dirty, and women were shunned or confined to small dark rooms for the duration of menstruation. / .. / I learned to prize my time alone, / I knew I was more / I became more alone, / darkness became me / My Spirit got large / My Freedom, / desired / above all else / I am my Freedom. / alone in the dark / I began the journey.

I often think about how I came here naked and pretty beat up. My life was not working. Through Art I got a sense of feeling again I connected to my Source aka.. Nipple.. (tehee) / When I connected to Source, I was able to reach out and allow others back into my world again thus I created or Allowed … Community. RB Community is practice all the time for me to go outside my door and become more, become a part of my world around me.
