  • It is always the Chase with Spot, the conquest is secondary. But then again they had it coming, first the mouse ventured out for that last forbidden morsel, and of course Tabby just could let the opportunity pass…well then the rest is history as they say. • “Three Susans”, is a testament to the beauty of autumn’s, Black-eyed Susans. It seems the blooms never really decide whether to be yellow, or orange. But in the end it doesn’t matter… they are gorgeous. Three Susans, is done on watercolor paper. • I have a certain thing about old trailers and trailer park life. I don’t know why I never lived in one until I was 34 years old. But for whatever reason they hold a certain, charm, even dignity and a weird sort of comfort. The pink trailer is the finest in the park. The Trixie sisters, always meet to discuss their evening plans, and maybe just a bit of gossip. It is the best of the park life, just outside that Pink 1958 Stanley. About the original: / Title: The Pink Trailer Trixie Sisters / size: 9×12 / Media: color pencil and marker on MFD wood panel / Status fo the Original: available

  • This piece was taken from a picture a friend took while visiting in Turkey. I saw the beautiful sunset and got such a feeling of warm, enduring friendship radiating off these men. To all who believe that they are the least loved…Mama’s reply is,...say it with me “I love you equally, just differently!” About this Painting: / media: 140 lb smooth bristol / Materials: color pencil, marker / Subject: cat & woman / Style:modern cubism

  • In 2006, I was in a deep depression, unable to work, I had given up my art work, I thought for good. The Lord being who He is (you know what he is like when he loves you!) Gave me, what I call an “art” word. In which both the image and the poem were created in my spirit simultaneously. This is the only “art” word I have ever received, But what a word. It sustained me with hope and strength to go on! I wrote the poem down that night, but it would be 6 months before I was able to even attempt to draw the vision with which it was conceived with. God is good, and he loves us. (period) Nail Scarred Feet / My steps so new and wobbly, / Uncertain with wavering gait. / Each step unchartered, / Each sway unchecked, / Unsure I stand and wait / “Follow me,” he beckons, / With arms extended wide. / “Ill hold you steadfast and / Guide you in each stride / From the darkest of valleys, / Unto the mountain peaks.” / All the while my spirit soaring / As I stand-upon / His nail scarred feet

  • I am obsessed with the look of a pleading dog. Probably because I fall victim to it 99% of the time. Every dog owner knows the look. When they want a treat, a ride, some 1 on 1 play time. Those among us who can resist, are a far better women than me. This is the lastest in my k9.5 series, done with color pencils, and paint markers on the MDF board. Color is layed down layer upon layer, until a full saturation of color is achieved. About the Original / size: 14.5×5x.5” / media: color pencil, paint marker / Materials: MDF wood panel: / Style: Contemporary Cubism / Original Status: Available from Artist

  • Fun and colorful the personality of Cats is as varied as the colors known to man. But within every domestic cat lies wildness, cloaked in an attitude of mischievousness and suspicion. They watch, plan, pounce and conquer. The dust bunny, may be a rabbit, and the fly on the wall a bird, it all needs to be investigated and conquered. Cube-A-Kitty is perched upon the cloak of domesticity, and all scattered debris would be wise to keep that in mind. I chose primary colors to emphasize the primal untamed side of cats, and cubism best illustrates the fractured nature of the domestic feline.

  • A Kitty is quite an industrial creature and always in the loop. This Cat being no exception will use every once of concentration and natural engineering to set up his rouse. Then when all is said and done, he only need wait…and of course ignore any ensuing distraction! Brilliant colors are used to illustrate his obvious High IQ. Cubism seemed the only style capable of illustrating the absurd genius of his stance. About this piece: / Size: 12×16 / Sub strait: 140 lb Bristol Vellum / Media: Color pencil, and marker / Style: Modern Cubism, abstract, representational Note: The colored pencil is applied layer upon layer to build up a deep, vibrant color saturation and effect similar to the renaissance glazing techniques used by the old masters.

  • We all could use a pick me up! Maybe it was the mouse he was chasing, maybe it was watching the warm milk as they poured it in…or it could just be too much caffeine! Now the trick is to make yourself look like a coffee cup so the dog won’t notice! The original was done, in a series of color pencil paintings on wood and mfd panels. the color pencil is applied in such a way as to saturate the wood with full color and then polish it so it looks like a oil painting. About this image: / Original size:12×12” / style: modern / Status or Original: SOLD / Suggested print finish: Glossy or Matte
