I took this photograph for an art project. / I was walking through a parking lot and saw a bunch of licorice tangled, out of its package. / It had just rained when I took this photo. / I took this with a Canon Powershot.
The redness seeped into my white human body, feeding every cell with its crimson spoon.
A fictional, farcical and allusive tale of the Bush presidency. Look for different allusions and metaphors (beyond the obvious).
Enhanced digital photo of tree bark.
Salty coffee… Ok… I think I have to explain it a little….. In German we have a concept about: to put too much salt in someones soup... Which means: to cook so.’s goose, or to rain on so.’s parade, or to spoil so.’s plans or to spoil things for so....... This t-shirt is about putting too much salt in someones coffee... which is an allusion to all the sleaze bags in offices, putting you too much salt in your coffee, those sleaze bags, which you never can trust…..

The shamrock is a symbol of Ireland. It is a three-leafed old white clover. It is sometimes of the variety Trifolium repens (a white clover, known in Irish as seamair bhán) but today usually Trifolium dubium (a lesser clover, Irish: seamair bhuí). The diminutive version of the Irish word for “clover” (“seamair”) is “seamróg”, which was anglicised as “shamrock”, representing a close approximation of the original Irish pronunciation. However, other three-leafed plants — such as black medic (Medicago lupulina), red clover (Trifolium pratense), and wood-sorrels (genus Oxalis) — are sometimes designated as shamrocks. The shamrock was traditionally used for its medical properties and was a popular motif in Victorian times. It is also a common way to represent Saint Patrick’s Day. / The four-leaf clover is often confused with the shamrock. While the four-leaf clover is a symbol of good luck, the three-leafed shamrock is mainly an Irish Christian symbol of the Holy Trinity and has a different significance. An innuendo is, according to the Advanced Oxford Learner’s Dictionary (7th Edition; electronic version) an indirect remark about somebody or something, usually suggesting something bad or rude; the use of remarks like this: “innuendoes about her private life” or “The song is full of sexual innuendo.” (Examples from the OALD) The word is often used to express disapproval. (OALD) An innuendo is a baseless invention of thoughts or ideas. It can also be a remark or question , typically disparaging (also called insinuation), that works obliquely by allusion . In the latter sense, the intention is often to insult or accuse someone in such a way that one’s words, taken literally, are innocent. The term sexual innuendo has acquired a specific meaning, namely that of a “risque” double entendre by playing on a possibly sexual interpretation of an otherwise innocent uttering. Be careful in pursuits.
This is in fact a single image ,using ND Grad filters and not an HDR.Picture taken at Bosham Sussex UK.
The background of this picture, I believe if you didn’t know, looks like the sky with clouds….actually he is walking the edge of the lake and it is the reflection of clouds in the water…I thought that was kind of interesting /
I stood alone and marvelled at the beautiful Belgian sunset and saw a young woman staring sadly at the sea. I have written a few lines which may or not be purely conjecture on my part! I tried to unlock the key to your heart, / Which doubted and craved some pursuit, / Denial wea wrong and it seemed from the start / Intense and naive with reflection astute / An empty and fleeting emotion. Desire appeared mutual with a fantasy emerging / The situation ripe for attraction and vivid dreams / Yet somewhere in this haze and the love fledgling / An alarm bell in my head rang loudly so it seems / An empty and fleeting emotion. She was there, she was always there / An invisible force concealed with dread / That our masks would drop with flair / And an implicit afterglow would convey a myriad. I never unlocked the key to your heart, / And acutely I felt the pain of rejection, / Instead of an affair, it all fell apart / With sadness, anger fuelled by imagination / And an empty fleeting emotion.
