Driving along this almost deserted highway we spotted this Love heart, somewhere between Uluru and Kings Canyon. An amazing piece of work, literally in the middle of nowhere. Hence the title, Love is all around…even in the middle of nowhere….. This for you Terez , my lovely daughter , she died when she was nearly 15 …… Thank you my friends your comments and support mean a lot to me. I had this pain bottled up in me so so long… but I knew and hoped with time passing things will change and turn out good… I was right, things started to unfold last week and I could just see and feel it. Working with this wonderful model just inspired me and brought all those feelings up from my heart, bones and my most inner part. There’s something very soothing and calming about these water drop/condensation shots for me. Maybe it’s the perfect symmetry of the drops or the way they look like falling rain that’s frozen in time… either way they just make my stressfulness melt away. Anyway, this is condensation on a water bottle… I shot this using my macro lens and extension tubes as well as my flash. I don’t think I had a background on this one.. just the white screen of my computer. Enjoy!

/ / A little bit of nostalgia running through this drawing, with the good old love beads, i always love wearing love beads, and I still have some which are orange and lime … and another strand of blue and white. You can wear them so many different ways. The image was drawn in pencil on cartridge paper in my A3 spiral bound art journal and after photographing I coloured her digitally on the computer. Before I took the photo I actually painted her ‘love beads’ with acrylics and inks…and i stuck a fimo flower on her beads, which i made for another application, and then painted it naples yellow with a white centre.
