Rogue pilots from area 51, take the day off. I’m not sure if this is the sort of tweaking you had in mind, Resisto, but I couldn’t resist drawing something for that inviting flight path. The “donut / frizzbee” type ufo more common a decade or two ago, has been linked by certain groups to experimental aircraft developed by the Americans afer they had “interviewed” the “high altitude crash test dummy” aliens. Who knows? Anyway it was easier to draw than a Battlestar. :)

The Alien landscape inside the creater of Haleakala on Maui, Hawaii as the sun rises over the horizon. IT was freezing cold up there with a temp of about 40 and winds of 25mph or more. We got up at 3AM to make it there for sunrise and watched the temp drop almost 40 degrees as we made out ascent.

Location: Destin, FL – Regatta Bay Golf & Country Club / Camera:Canon A-10 EOS 35 mm / Lens: Tamron 28-200mm / Film: Fujicolor 200 speed This shot was taken on a very foggy night in April of 2000. I was driving by the Regatta Bay Golf Course while the country club had a tournament going on. They had the restaurant all lit up behind this stand of trees. We could see the shot from the road and though it was misting rain. I managed to risk my camera equipment and trespassed onto the golf course to get the shot. It was my FIRST time trespassing and I was sure I would get caught, but the shot was totally worth it. The fog the mist and the lighting all combined to make a once in a lifetime eerie effect. Even the colors in this shot have not been adjusted much. The lights shooting into the air were blue in color. Only minor cropping and editing of contrast were done in Photoshop CS3.

ALF is a half-hour American television sitcom that originally ran on NBC from 1986 to 1990 and was created by Paul Fusco. The title character was Gordon Shumway, a friendly extraterrestrial nicknamed ALF (for Alien Life Form) who crash lands in the garage of the suburban middle class Tanner family. The series stars Max Wright as father Willie Tanner, Anne Schedeen as mother Kate Tanner, and Andrea Elson and Benji Gregory as their children, Lynn and Brian Tanner. The character of ALF was portrayed by a puppet operated primarily by Fusco, or, in some instances, by dwarf actor Michu Meszaros wearing an ALF costume. ________ / Because I love you all, I charge no markup… so that means I don’t get any profit from these tees!

The cliff face shimmered slightly as the craft slipped softly into the blue. They hugged the sheer wall until they were well clear, then dipped into the powdered soft whiteness beneath. It had been a while since their last meeting. Hopefully this one would go better… I have used this digital painting as the cover for my / 2009 Sci Fi Calendar /
