  • “Yeeehaaa,” roared Jim. His face creased with laughter and he felt somewhat light-headed, even with the benefit of a pressure suit. He turned to Frankie at his side. “Woah! That dive gets me every time.” “Me too,” chortled Frankie, “although it’s the first time we’‘ve done it with invisibility off.” Frankie gently tweaked the single control column, levelling the, “Frisbee” over the Yarra. “What we are doing will change Earth for ever, Jim.” said Frankie grimly. All traces of the euphoria they had both felt at the end of the swoop, had evaporated like the fog over the Yarra. “Someone had to do it”, replied Jim softly. His eyes betraying a sadness, at odds with his clipped comment. They dipped lower and slowed, drifting silently forward about 100 metres above the dark waters, reflected like some giant metallic Krispy Kreme. They needed to be as visible as possible to the morning crowds. The time for pretending, misinformation and outright lies, was over. No-one could stop them now. Ever since the days of the USAF’s infamous “Project Blue Book”, cover up. There had been a small group of dissenters, effectively silenced, through means both fair and fowl. After secret and careful preparation, their time had come. They had finally decided to risk all and act. Frankie tweaked the controls and then let the craft settle into its auto landing function. They touched down near to the harbour entrance and within minutes, helicopters and fighter aircraft from the Australian Air force were buzzing overhead, like angry gnats ahead of a summer storm. The nervous and expectant crowds lined every vantage point and cameras, both official and private clicked and whirred away – capturing and sending information at light speed around the globe. The ramp lowered and the crowds hushed as the men walked slowly and deliberately down and towards the awaiting media. Jim grinned again, exposing row after row of very tiny, but very sharp teeth…

  • Proudly exploring new and undersized frontiers

  • I was hoping for a nice tree picture but what i got strikes me very differently. It’s like a shot from another planet. The lens flare would normally have ruined it but the very nature of the flare and thestyle almost seem to add to the interplanetary mood. The pic is totally unmodified. I’d be interested in your opinion – have i been watching too much Dr Who or does it really have an air of the outer worlds?

  • And what a beautiful state of the art facility it is. As the sunrises, the traditional space-age classic moghul architecture compliments the towering megatropolis skyline of the vast and beautiful Lahore Skycity. This is one of Earth’s most beautiful cities and if I had to choose personally what could be one of the best places for the new headquarters buildings I would also gladly choose Lahore Skycity. -

  • Who’s says women are not equal may as well join the dark dOveside. These Hijabi Heroines might just surprise us by saving the planet from all out avain aniallation by putting the dOvemaster in his place. The bigger they are the harder they fall.

  • This is one of my dreams someday, to actually ‘catch’ one of these craft “in the act.” Could I be this cool with my camera, just hanging out and shooting the picture to end all speculation? Or would I be diving under the nearest shrub to get out of sight? My guess, I’d be doing what I’m doing in my faked picture here… ;-)

  • Wishing you a friendly salaam alaikum from 22,000’ above the cloud tops of Peshawar!

  • Zabber Dast!, noting like pakistani craftsmanship…...........way ahead of anyone’s time.

  • The scout ship came out of the mother ship that remained static beyond and above the island. The scout ships worked rapidly and thoroughly even periodically descending into the water. Rendered in Vue 6 modeled with MOI

  • Origami Man travelled the universe in his spaceship and landed on the home planet of Venus Fly Trap (and her friends). / Moonflowers cover the ground and the craters are homes to various creatures. The venus fly traps live in the tall craters, shaped like vases. Such courage and bravery is shown here by Origami Man as he greets Venus Fly Trap. You may ask, would he still be as friendly if he knew what they ate? And the answer is yes! Of course he would… OM doesn’t prejudice against those that eat space explorers… he just wears protective clothing!!! This image is created in Cinema 4D and was part an assignment at TAFE. / One day, I’ll get around to getting the story I wrote for Origami Man created. Its on the to do list!!! Why not get your own Venus Fly Trap to wear!!! /

  • Return now from place far away / To judge Earth on this judgement day / Decide what comes and what will stay / Which things to their home they’ll convey / / Decide they will with pure thought / On all things that this Earth has wrought / To separate what’s good or not / Judgments that can’t be swayed nor bought / / Things deemed unworthy or unsound / Will be left just as they are found / To vanish in act so profound / Where all that’s left will not rebound / / This fractal artwork was inspired by the prophesies of Judgement Day. This is one of the prophesies that exists in almost all religions of the world. Similar versions of Judgement Day are found in Christianity, Judaism, and Islam. The only exception I am aware of to the prophesy of judgement day is in Hinduism, as in Hinduism Satan doesn’t exist. / / I am a spiritual person, but not a religious person, which is most frequently termed as an Agnostic. I believe that there is something far greater than all of us in this universe, for we exist, but keep an open and questioning mind as to just what that might be. In this artwork I represent one of those alternative views of Judgement Day, where our ‘creator’ returns to salvage what good has come from our world (and not just from an arrogant human civilization), to save it before our world ends by taking these positive attributes back with them from where they came. / / Granted, as an agnostic, I think there is a good possibility as well that there will be no judgement day at all. The prophesy of judgement day may have come about through humankinds everlasting quest for immortality, and the need to believe that humankind will continue on forever. Only time itself will tell the truth about judgement day. / / This was artwork created in Incendia. The fractal is exactly as it was rendered. The background image of Earth used with Incendia is from a well-known public domain image from NASA. The only post-processing was to crop it just a hair to bring it to a more common printing size. The original artwork is 3600×3600 pixels at 300 pixels per inch. The details are difficult to see over the internet, so I have included a few detail cutaways to give you a better idea of the overall detail of the artwork. The cutaways are at 100% of the original size. / / / / / / / /

  • Pinkling is a cheery little fellow. He loves to zoom about among the stars in his little flying saucer. He also loves ice cream. : )

  • The Midnight Star is a very cold, very old and barren planet, apparently uninhabited, and the Coliseum is one of the few ruins discovered so far of a long departed civilization. / This gigantic structure is carved out of a single mountain, and if you look at the 3d sample below, it appears to be a type of race course, or a consecutive series of smaller arenas or training grounds. Possible seating as carved levels for over a million beings our size, less if they were larger in size, more if they were avian. There are no indications of dwellings as we know them, so maybe they just commuted for scheduled events. It’s difficult to date, as no artifacts were found. This image is a close-up near the top of the center on the morning of our first expedition inside. There are steps all over the inside, some purely decoration it seems, but it certainly was easy to explore once we got over the outer wall. No Doors! Yet another collaboration with Owlspook and another of her lovely fractal creations, Midnight Star: Here is the converted artifact, notice the six chambers with adjoining gateways: Hope you like these, Owlspook, imagine pod racing, or perhaps chariot relays with a melee in between, or maybe ballet, or multiplex movie theaters!

Here we see one of the six interior sections, or arenas, looking in towards the center from atop the outer wall; this one is worth a long close look, the details are intense. This image was taken on the outside of the structure as we headed back to the shuttle, the coliseum is perfectly round with striated vertical walls, and these terraced divided areas all around the outside, pens perhaps, or holding areas, or parking?
