... ” Our lives are made in these small hours, in these little wonders. These twists and turns of fate. Time falls away, but these small hours.. these small hours still remain…” Excerpt from the Song “Little Wonders” by Rob Thomas. This song always makes me think of my son, who is walking along the beach in this shot.

Some Fear death, / Some Fear life, / Some Fear love, / Most fear becoming invisible and being forgotten….

When was the last time a moment was taken to sit down and admire the beauty around you? To soak in the setting sun, to listen to a child laugh, or allow a quiet breeze to kiss your cheek. When was the last you counted your blessings, and felt rich just because you were alive? When was the last time you really noticed the beauty around you, and knew that it was created by a loving Father in Heaven just for you. If this were your last day on earth, could you really say that you had lived and appreciated all life has to offer? When was the last time….. Picture taken at Moss Landing California

Photograph of Lake Lowell just outside Nampa ID, where I grew up. I used to cut school when I was in Jr. High with some friends and come out here and go swimming. This was taken this November just after sunrise. Comments are always welcome.

This is an older image I found and edited a few days ago… I am not sure how many of you have seen “The Phantom of the Opera” the movie, ( I personally prefer the play but I thought the movie was very well done) some of the filming in that movie inspired me in this.

Photography taken in Hollister California, a field next to my house. Edited in Photoshop.

Father and Son, watching the sunset on the beach. I have added a dry brush effect as I wanted this to have more of the appearance of a painting. Comments are welcome, Images may not be used or copied without my express written permission.

“I’ll love you forever, / I’ll like you for always, / As long as I’m living / my baby you’ll be. “ Inspired by a Robert Munsch Book ” I’ll love you forever, I’ll like you for always.” Comments are welcome as always.

I think I prefer the glowing white me.. but … I am working on portraits, and although I am branching out to do mostly other people.. I did have another Self Portrait to add… no, I am not narcissistic.. just practicing… Comments and suggestions are welcome.

I have been meaning to repost this. After the fairytale is a tribute to when the wedding is done, the honeymoon is over, and the rose color glasses come off. Life starts, and though it is hard, it is well worth it.

I was listening to a song the other day, and one of the lines read: / ” I want a moment to be real, / Wanna touch things I don’t feel, / Wanna hold on and feel I belong. / And how can the world want me to change, / They’re the ones that stay the same. / The can’t see me, / ‘but I’m still here.” It was this line that inspired this piece… Comments are welcome.

One of the most quoted sayings about eyes is that they are the window to the soul. The eyes, in my opinion, tell the character and the state of spirit that a person is really in. You can mask everything else, but the eyes tell you what a person really is and feels deep inside.

Model: Lissette / Location: Hollister CA, an old condemned school that is going to be converted to government buildings. Oh, I realize the background is uneven… that is how the building is….any suggestions are welcome as to how to even it out without taking from the shot.

Hmmm… it has been a long time since I have edited and worked on my photography and art. I think this is the first new thing I have done in a month or so. I am unsure how I feel about it.. This tree reminds me of a song I use to hear when I was a kid, about a couple who were going to run away together but the woman ended up staying behind. They did end up together.. but still… Hence the title. Comments are always welcome, I am sure it is a little dark. Like I said, I am unsure about it myself. We will see if it stays.

Inspired by Three Doors Down Here Without You “Here Without You” A hundred days have made me older / Since the last time that I saw your pretty face / A thousand lies have made me colder / And I don’t think I can look at this the same / But all the miles that separate / Disappear now when I’m dreaming of your face I’m here without you baby / But you’re still on my lonely mind / I think about you baby / And I dream about you all the time / I’m here without you baby / But you’re still with me in my dreams / And tonight it’s only you and me The miles just keep rollin’ / As the people leave their way to say hello / I’ve heard this life is overrated / But I hope that it gets better as we go I’m here without you baby / But you’re still on my lonely mind / I think about you baby / And I dream about you all the time / I’m here without you baby / But you’re still with me in my dreams / And tonight girl its only you and me Everything I know, and anywhere I go / It gets hard but it wont take away my love / And when the last one falls / When it’s all said and done / It gets hard but it wont take away my love I’m here without you baby / But you’re still on my lonely mind / I think about you baby / And I dream about you all the time / I’m here without you baby / But you’re still with me in my dreams / And tonight girl its only you and me
