Heading out of Gunnerside, you get this view back up the Swaledale valley, which shows the steep fall of the land into the River Swale, and the curve of the valley. With all the snow shots around, tried something a little different in the post production of the image, hence the title. Shot in the Yorkshire Dales
This a window in the new block of flats built next to the Marble Arch pub, the reflection of the chimney is in the top window, while a single vase is a touch of humanity in a very box like building. shot in the centre of Manchester and converted in albumen via PSP
Taken in the bar of The Green Dragon pub and converted into albumen to highlight the sense of the unchanging nature of this place. / Having said that, this range is a recent addition to the bar. Taken at the Green Dragon Pub in Hardraw in North Yorkshire
This is the base of the waterfall at Hardraw, behind the Green Dragon pub. This lovely gem of a place in the Yorkshire dales, sits in the Wensleydale Valley. With the fading light, wanted to try and bring a sense of place and time to this constant movement of falling water on the broken rocks, so converted it to albumen in PSP Shot in the the North Yorkshire Dales
This beautiful dog had followed his master (with camera) to the foot of the waterfall and while the photographer took his photos of the waterfall at Hardraw, his dog just stood there taking in the final rays of the sun. PS the dog was not mine lol think the cats might sulk at sharing the sofa, bad enough they have suffer me on it The picture was then converted into albumen in PSP
This is Lendal bridge in York, crossing the river Ouse, slowly being revealed in the morning fog. The boats are part of the fleet that provides river tours and views which relate to York’s past as a working port. Converted into albumen in PSP
This was one of those wonderful moments photographers love. This couple wandered along the bridge and just stayed there, forming this human touch to the view along the River Ouse in York. Got some great shots with them watching me taking shots along with them taking in the view. Better still, they were really nice when I got a chance to say thank you to them. This Lendal Bridge, with Ouse Bridge in the distance. Converted into albumen in PSP
This is the view from one of our office windows. Taken from the top of Toft Green this is the view across the slopes of the river sides towards the Minster and the famous Rose Window. It shows how each decade has affected the styles of buildings and the windows they have used, from the Rose Window in the Minster to the humble skylight The amazing weather vane is a well known landmark in York, recently repaired after nearly being blown off in last years winds. It sits on top of old North Eastern Railway building. Shot in York Converted into albumen in PSP

Taken on the Buttertubs pass in the North Yorkshire Dales, this bench provides really spectacular views along Wensleydale. The smoke to the top left is where they burn the heather to allow for fresh growth for the local bird population to feed upon, before trying to shoot them later on. Converted into albumen in PSP

This was spotted in York at a local bike rack. The city of York has long been linked with those modern equivalents of the riders of the western frontiers, cyclists. For whom the laws of the highways and byways are but words on paper and do not apply to them. LOL ex cyclist and can not get over their colour blindness at traffic lights, the inability to read road signs, to know that a one way street is only for weaklings and it is every one else’s fault if they are in the cyclists way. Rant over lol had a very heavy 18 gallon barrel of beer hit my leg because a cyclist ignored the one way sign, had no lights on and decided to see if he could get close enough to the van door to check his reflection in the paintwork and it was not the first time either! This is the River Duddon as it flows through the valley named after it, in the Lake District in Cumbria. / At this point, the river seems to tumble over these boulders and mini falls, while moving sand and gravel banks form and edge the river deeper into the banks which erode. You are left with trees hanging on before their roots are washed away and they die or are sent crashing into the river during the floods. This was taken while rain was falling through the low lying fog. Converted into albumen in PSP
This is the classic view into the Langdales in the Lake District. This place in Cumbria is one of England’s greatest gems and has this wonderful feeling of not really changing has it has been cultivated and worked by man since the stone age. Converted in albumen in PSP
This is the River Duddon flowing through the valley that carries it’s name. This stone bridge is a favoured spot for the “leapers” into the water in the summer. This wonderful spot in the Lake District, is where Whistling Green meets Ulpha over the bridge. Converted into albumen in PSP

This is the hand of the Emperor Constantine ,the only Roman to be named Emperor while in Britain and a founder of that empires conversion to a one religious state, Christianity. This is a recent statue addition to York, which actually lacks statues for a city of such a long history. The statue is by the West Door of York Minster. Converted into albumen in PSP
