Bow Lake. Alberta, Canada / March, 2008 Inspired by comments from Stuart Chapman and Rhana Griffin on my last upload of this stunning setting, I decided to revisit this location… if only I could have actually revisited for real, but sadly only through my many pictures… This really was an expanse of breath taking scenery and I was more than happy to pull this one out of the bag…

At the gentle suggestion of one LJ Maxx, I uploaded this darker version of “Horse Montage II” for entry into the Challenge Cafe Black & White challenge. / The lighter version showing on the right is uploaded as “Horse Montage II”. If you like it better, just click on the lighter image to be taken there. This is a composite of three photos, a sculpture of the herd (by a local artist I am told), a close-up of just one of the horses, and a wagon in my sister’s yard. /

My Waterfall of Clouds pic was such a big hit I decided to add a few more of the strange cloud formation taken on the same day back in August 2007. Photo taken in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains outside of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I am also overjoyed AlienVisitor wanted to use this shot for a fabulous collaboration he has created. This is the second time David has used one of my pics . . . the first collaboration was done using Waterfall of Clouds . . . Thank you again David . . . I’m over the moon!
