  • Little Beach
    by georgieboy98

    US$3.99–US$17.10

Little Beach is on the Southern Ocean a few kilometres east of Albany which, in turn, is just under 450 kms south of Perth, Western Australia. Until a few years ago access was by a long, corrugated gravel road with the result that only a handful of visitors ever discovered it. Now the road has been bitumenised and gradually this whole area of coastline is attracting visitors. It is completely unspoilt with no amenities or facilities whatsoever and the nearest shop is about 15/20 minutes away. It has been a favourite spot of ours for over 35 years and we never fail to come here when we are in the area.

  • Middleton Dreaming
    by Stephen Williams

    US$3.99–US$91.20

Albany / Western Australia Shooting down at the base of the cliffs near Middleton Beach in Albany I scrambled out to this location. Wedged into a rock with camera balanced I commenced shooting. The light started changing into something quite nice and then I managed to get hit by a wave. Soaking me head to toe and camera too…. a mad dash back to the car to dry the equipment proved worthwhile. I few minutes after this shot i fell would have gotten me the full effect I was after, but this wasn’t far off. • Eternal Reflection
    by Jeannette Sheehy

    US$4.48–US$102.60

This is a photo of part of a monument to missing people. It’s made of beaten steel with an eternal flame at the top. I took this at deep dusk, the gold is the light of the flames on the steel. I added a little more saturation and made the temperature a little colder to get the abstract effect I wanted. Albany, NY Sept 2008

  • The Path Ahead
    by Keegan Wong

    US$3.99–US$91.20

Go on…take the step…don’t be afraid of what lies ahead. Shot in The Gap, Albany. Western Australia. NOTE: I know how annoying my framing can be, as well as my signature on the picture. So I’ve decided to remove them from now on. The rest of my artwork will follow suit when time permits. Sigh Pharmacy Exams are killing me. MORE WORKS FROM MY PORTFOLIO /

  • Action at the riverside
    by georgieboy98

    US$3.99–US$91.20

The scene on the banks of Albany’s King River, 450 kms south of Perth, Western Australia. The gull taking off was a bonus because I hadn’t seen him – all my attention was focused on the roo and I was willing him to stay there!! In the event he lost interest and started munching at what little grass there was. I had to do a fair bit of cloning out here because he was partly hidden by the bush on the right. In the background is Oyster Harbour where earlier that day we had enjoyed a cruise that also went up the neighbouring Kalgan River

  • Print scan, I know it’s not the best scan, but I actually like how it is. So it’s staying!!!!!! Holga / 5×5 / Fuji

  • Off Albany
    by Tainia Finlay

    US$4.23–US$96.52

Taken on a deep sea fishing extravaganza off the coast at Albany, WA. There is a light house built decades ago on the Island which would have mean’t hard work at the time I’m sure. It was a rough day out there which I loved, here the seas were less choppy sheltered by the Island. Catch of the day was a 20 Kilo King fish (by me) who nearly fell off the other side of the boat when it emerged with help from the skipper. The skipper also won the catch as I was heading up to Perth the same day. Thank you for looking :D

  • The early sea mist has just about burnt off as the sun starts to get up on this lovely beach. At the far end can be seen the buildings of the whaling station, whose operations ceased several years ago and which is now a very popular tourist destination with A/V displays, 3D films, gift shop, cafe etc. The centre for exploring this region is Albany, which is across on the other side of Princess Royal Harbour. Albany is some 450 kms south of Perth

  • Freedom
    by Tainia Finlay

    US$4.23–US$96.52

These gulls seemed to be enjoying their day as much as I did. I think they were after my catch!! Thank you for looking.

  • Emu Point
    by georgieboy98

    US$3.99–US$91.20

This one’s for Anne-Marie who once lived in this town of Albany down in the south of Western Australia some 440 kms from Perth. I suppose you could say that Emu Point is a suburb of Albany and it is a truly beautiful area where we used to always stay back in the early 1970’s and where, since 2001, we have again stayed on average of once a year. / The water you see is Oyster Harbour which is fed by the waters of King George Sound which, in turn, are a part of the mighty Southern Ocean. Across the far side of the harbour are two rivers, the King and the Kalgan and we were once lucky enough to do a cruise on the latter which called in at a winery en route!! / No visitor to Western Australia should miss this region!
