Ever get the feeling that you’ve left something behind? This image was sold to a mystery buyer on RB as a small framed print Also sold to another mystery buyer on RB as a matted print and it has also had 3 card sales on RB. It’s been featured on the RB art pages and in the Technical Photography group, which all told makes it my most popular and successful piece so far. So I’d just like to say a BIG thank you to everyone who has contributed to it’s popularity, I’m very grateful to each and ever one of you!
have always wanted to capture a big plane landing but could never be there at the right time or having the wind blowing in the right direction. The low clouds helps bring the plane closer than usual….i could almost touch it….hahhah. To see a hugh metal flying over you at approx. 200kph is…...priceless. The jetfuel, the noise…...Perfect. I am NOT a plane enthusiast , but it is fascinating to watch. Sydney “Kingsford Smith” Airport Boeing 747 landing train plane truck car chair Transportation
A street photo taken at Changi Airport, Singapore. Using the natural light as backlighting, these people were quickly snapped in silhouetted as they were walking away. I’m surprised how similar these people are. They echoed each other in terms of being in a pair. Also, the pairs in the foreground are single dad with their only child. All this captured at the time 16:57.
One rainbow…one member of airport ground control…then add a healthy dose of belief in being able to achieve anything you set yourself towards…and there you have it! ;) For Nat’s reveal yourself challenge

Is she saying hello or saying goodbye? This gorgeous blue eyed beauty has a well-crafted paper aeroplane circling her. Whether it’s about to land or about to take-off is anyone’s guess. This piece reminds me of all those teary airport hellos and farewells of my 20s! ..................♥ the fine print ♥…............... Clocks on a wall in the airport. San Luis Obispo, Ca. /
After a long and bone chillingly cold winter in England, there is nothing quite like the first glimpse of that extravagantly huge Kangaroo on the side of the plane that is taking you back home…..It undoes me every time :)

I’ve been to Eppley airfield in Omaha Nebraska several times. I never stopped to look closely at Carter lake which lies on the other side of the street to the terminal entrance. Today while bringing my Canadian friend to Omaha for his return flight to Ottawa, we decided to “drive through” and check out this small lake with the outline of the city as a backdrop before saying farewell. Walking over the small knoll in the parking lot, we were met by an enormous expanse of water lilies – of a kind I have never seen before in my life. Cameras and tripods were at the ready, and we spent quite a bit of time photographing the area before suddenly realizing that we had not checked the time for several minutes. The sudden awareness of a possible missed flight threw us into a frenzy of gathering up equipment and rushing across the street. Flushed from the heat and with the images from the previous hour forgotten, I waved goodbye to my friend as he jogged down the long hall toward his departure gate. Hours later, I opened my files on my camera to find these beautiful lilies and a bittersweet joy flooded my heart as I realized how precious are the times when time stands still. / /
Sedona, Az. This is one of many beautiful views from Airport Loop Trail. Sedona has over a hundred trails that range from very easy to very hard. This was a moderate trail that was a great scenic hike as it circles the mesa and gives you open views. Nikon D-80 / 18-135 mm lens / CP filter

Madrid airport is absolutely extraordinary – there are these amazing structural pieces that vignette from a bright yellow colour to deep blue, I’ve managed to capture the spectrum at the green to blue stage…. the roof has this amazing billowing waving curve to it. It’s almost space age!
